Hello friends! I'm back with a new portrait of a recurrent character but this time in a different mood.

Not gonna lie, the current climate affects my inspiration in weird ways, some of my favorite characters evoque concepts like justice and patriotism that are not very present in my surroundings. I wanted to finish this portrait of Captain America that I started a long time ago but I couldn't capture the original vibe of confidence and heroism like in other illustrations.

So I got to read some of my old comics and I found the NOMAD event. In the movies they never got to do it properly but there's a nod to it in "Avengers: Infinity War" and that's how I decided to render this piece, a little melancholic, gloomy but still beautiful.

I don't know if I'll ever make another portrait of him like this, I hope next time I get to deliver a more optimistic version, but for now this is an honest, loving tribute to one of my all time favorites, I hope you like it 💜
