2023-02-04 20:42:16 +0000 UTCLooks decent, but I miss his pistol and huge windshield. If you showed me this render two years ago I would just say it's a Cataphract. Which it more or less is, but it seems to have lost a bit of its unique Caesar-ese somewhere along the line here. The CCG art for this mech was still its most shining moment (and the first Inner Sphere mech card with a base 5 attack)!

Making a "properly designed" version of the Cataphract is such a Davion flex, and doing at a smokescreen for a mech you _actually_ care about keeping secret is the kind of Clever Dickery they also go in for. Ofc, it's a BETTER mech in most circumstances than the Axeman, but that's not that hard...
