Wraith Concept Sketch
Added 2021-12-15 03:45:34 +0000 UTCHere's an odd one that a few of you requested. Anyone surprised that we've actually worked on one? :)
This was needed for something special so it landed on my plate to push out.
Alan Blackwell and I collaborated on this one. He got it started while I did the second half of dialing it in.
We did further changes later on in the process too, so some elements here change in the final, such as some differing arm laser details, and more tube shaped antenna rather than fins.
I think it's such a weird mech, but here you go.

Looking forward to this era of mechs getting facelifts, but hope the powers that be know there’s demand for the older ones not yet touched (cough Mauler cough Whitworth cough Kintaro cough etc.)

2021-12-22 09:19:14 +0000 UTCYou can make suggestions here as far as what mechs you'd like to see, but considering the way the company runs you're almost guaranteed to have no effect on what gets done :) Feel free to give all the feedback you want those, including critiquing design choices. Stuff likely wont change on a specific design, but I keep feedback in mind for the future.

2021-12-15 06:02:16 +0000 UTC@ Dan ; please note that Anthony says several changes were made later in the design process (could be at the 3D rendering stage ?) and that we'll get "...more tube shaped antennae rather than fins". This one came completely out of the blue for me, but kudos to Alan and Anthony !

2021-12-15 04:02:25 +0000 UTCI fully admit to being heavily biased because the Wraith is just my absolute favorite Mech, but I love the smooth lines of the original. I also preferred the old Mercury over the new–the only redesign I didn't prefer–so maybe that says something about my love for smooth curves. My simultaneous love for classic Corvettes might inform my preferences somewhat.
