2025-10-09 18:44:26 +0000 UTCthe moments showing Shirou with white hair looking epic… this is a reference to the infamous Mind of Steel ending, one of the many Bad Ends you can get playing through HF he basically speed runs becoming an edgier version of archer When Shirou runs into Illya in the park at night, he can decide to protect Sakura or double down on his hero of justice ideals. If he chooses to stay a hero of justice, he gets the bad end. Not choosing Sakura means not choosing Illya either. Illya doesn’t want Shirou to be a hero of justice since that is what led to her abandonment by Kiritsugu. Illya does an “I’m not mad, I’m disappointed” and leaves. Shirou then lets Rin kill Sakura. This destroys Rin and Shirou’s relationship. It also changes Rin’s motives for the grail war, as she goes insane and becomes desperate to win. The implication is that she wants to use the grail to bring Sakura back to life. Afterwards the route ends stating that Shirou has turned his Mind to Steel and became a superhero. He goes on win the war without a servant and personally kills all the other masters, including Illya and Rin.

2025-10-04 13:08:58 +0000 UTCA hot take but I prefer to pretend the heaven's feel movies don't exist 🤡 SOLELY due to how all over the place it feels to me. I understand they don't have 20 episodes to delve into details or develop much of any sideline characters (Sakura) like the UBW show does but I also feel like some characters act out of character in the movies? Ilya seems more helpless, Rin seems less aware of her surroundings, and Archer is way more cooperative and less independent. The Shadow, assassin, and Saber Alter are all thrown in with no explanation (I'm sure the visual novel explains EVERYTHING this is just my perception from watching the UBW, Zero, and the movies). Maybe I'm missing something from where the timeline picks up but just some things I noticed 🫥

2025-10-03 19:52:36 +0000 UTCSakuras monologue is so good as it perfectly shows how much of a great character Shirou is i love it so much. He was extremely affected mentally by the great fire at the 4th grail war leading to him having heavy amounts of survivors guilt. He basically has no self worth and tries to save people to find happiness as him being saved by Kiritsugu probably is one of his happiest memories. But, Heavens feel i think shows Shirous overall character in a much different light, as he is basically capable of giving up on his ideals for Sakura. Its so interesting how Both Ubw and Heavens feel show different sides of his character one focusing on his twisted pursuit to become a Hero of justice and one where he gives up on his ideals to save Sakura.
