I personally would choose "Squid Game" between these two, but I appreciated this show more after rewatching it with you than the first time!

2025-05-18 05:59:27 +0000 UTCGreat question Cannon. Both shows are great. The only knock I have for Squid Game is the acting from the VIPs. That completely broke the immersion for me at points. And in All of Us Are Dead the acting is so good especially for a cast of a majority young actors. They made the friendships and interactions with each other feel so real and natural. Very excited for season 2.

They don't want to watch their fav characters go through it all over again. Personally, I've rewatched it like 4 times now so maybe I just like the pain idk 😂 But it is a really well written, acted and produced show. Can't wait to see what they do with season 2. I hope Cheong San comes back caus he was my favourite character. I don't care how miraculous his return will be, make him a vampire I don't care. Just bring our goat back!

Honestly, not gonna lie, I thought you wouldn’t like it, and sometimes—especially during the first episodes—I felt like you weren’t really into it, which is totally fine. But since like episode 3 or so, I could see that you were kind of affected at certain moments, and that you were getting into it. I think AourD is a great show, but I’m joining Cannon and picking Squid Game. I think there are things AourD does better than SG, and vice versa. But overall, I think I choose SG for the plot and authenticity, and AourD for the strong character building (and for not hesitating to kill them off). I think it’s a really fun show, and I’m genuinely happy that you guys are getting more into the shibal world 🙂↔️. There are a lot of really interesting—and honestly better—shows coming from Korea.

This is the first time I've rewatched the show since it came out and I remember exactly why. It has that tone to it where it's just downright depressing, and I agree with the characters being very well done, but that is also why i don't want to see my fav characters die every episode one by one lol. Squid Game is sad but it also has its thrills, I feel locked in in a different way and find it enjoyable even on rewatch. Enjoyed the reaction to this series with you guys nonetheless, what and adventure. My fingers are crossed for Weak Hero class for next kdrama :>

We're all hoping it's him, at the same time, still thinking what will be the season 2 is all about. T_T And I agree on Mckay's and Jack's opinion about the characters of this show. I feel like I'm more attached with the characters here compared with the squid game. Still, both are good shows. :)

Because otherwise what is being spoken, it comes off a bit weird and even corny lol
