In the previous episode, Rider burning Caster’s underground hideout is a representation of Alexander in real life, how he burned Persepolis to “avenge the Greeks”. In this case, he burns Casters underground hideout to “avenge the children”.

He was just a tragic boy caught between his mother’s lies and his father’s ways. He had no identity for himself and took on the role of a god and then sullied the known world to some, purified it for others. He wasn’t always a bad man but he wasn’t kind. He wasn’t always just, but he was inspiring.
