January 2026 Poll

It's the start of a new year at Bartholomew High! The girls are still in senior year and as rowdy as ever. There's rumors of a new tradition starting up. If you're familiar with 'the ball drop' that is celebrated on New Years, then this may look familiar: the dork hoist. There's only one 'first flagpole wedgie of the year' and we need to decide who will get it. The obvious choice is Kim or Hailey, but unlucky for the other students, Kim and Hailey's moms have taken them shopping at the mall (probably restocking on underwear). So now it's open season in Bartholomew High...

The next obvious choice is Eveline. Probably the only intelligent dork at Bartholomew, she is scrawny and bad tempered. Perhaps she will get the first hoist?

Maybe people want to stick with bullying the goths. Sydney is mostly silent and doesn't put up a fight. She is however part of Scout's coven, maybe hoisting the slender goth occultist would be bad luck...

Finally, there's the wild card: hoist Sam the jock. A star member of the Bartholomew Field Hockey Team, Sam is a little thicker than the other two and has the typical bravado of a jock. Having her butt swaying around at the top of the pole would definitely be a shock.

This is a pretty simple scenario, but I'm planning to add a little something extra to spice it up. It'll be a surprise that I'm thinking people will like, based on some input from other images =)

Additionally I'm going to be making a post sometime tomorrow asking for input about some changes I'm thinking of. They aren't major, but I'd like your input as my supporters. So look out for that =)

December Weekly Sketch 3

Sometimes a dork gets lucky and finds someone who actually enjoys being bullied. With how many Scotsman's Daughters there are, one of them is bound to be a little kinky, right? Large, submissive tomboys exist, right guys?

The snow has fallen and the tighty whities have risen. If you listen closely you can hear the whimpering and shuffling of a goth dork coming down the halls. Teagan is enjoying her ride and the onlookers are also having a good laugh. The silver lining is that it seems Eveline was able to use Kim as an escape from a couple of other bullies. Not before losing one final pair of underwear for the year...

Sometimes having more power doesn't make you immune to defeat. Sometimes it's more about the fighting spirit. Unfortunately for the Angel Devil, being kind to humans isn't always the way to go.

Most maids clean and organize the house for you. Unfortunately for Lebanne, she found out that maid also have to offer up their own underwear for pulling when requested. I highly, highly doubt Kim could ever beat Lebanne in a battle, with or without Pokemon, but it's possible she saved up some cash to purchase a maid service for a day or so =)

As such, Teagan has decided to yank Kimberly's tighty whities up and over her head before parading her around the hallways of Bartholomew High for the rest of the students to see. Perhaps we can cut the goth loser some slack, it is Christmas after all. Maybe for this month's sketches Kim can have a chance to look cool...

It's time once again to celebrate Christmas at Bartholomew High! Snow is in the air and frost is on the ground, and Kim is as dorky as ever. It may or may not surprise you, but Teagan is sort of a gift giver herself. That is, if you count wedgies and swirlies as gifts. This year, Teagan is going to get into the holiday spirit and dress up as Santa while she goes around and spreads some seasonal cheer.

A possible idea is to do another public display of dorkiness by using Kim as a reindeer. Teagan is thinking about giving Kim an atomic wedgie and then riding on the back of the goth dork down the hallways of the school in a festive display!

A second possibility is to make the gift giving a little more private and personal. Teagan could give Kim a seasonal swirly in one of the restrooms. It would be a jolly head dunking just between the two of them. However, if you listen closely, beneath the watery groans from Kimberly there's the sound of stretching elastic in the next stall over. I wonder who it could be...

The other girls seem to be enjoying the view of Kim tied up in the hallway. I'm sure that a teacher will come and free the poor goth within a few minutes. Unfortunately for Kim, pictures are proof. Then again, I think she seriously overestimates how many people didn't think she was a dork before this...

After some years of teaching lower grade levels, Ms. Frizzle decided to take on the challenge of teaching teenagers. Being the eccentric lady that she is, The Frizz wanted to teach something not taught in the books, but in the hallways.

Who knows, maybe Ms. Frizzle will make being a dork look cool? She seems to be having fun, at least =)

Teagan has decided that the humiliation of Kim can't be contained to gym class. Kim's fat ass is going to be put on display for the whole school. Teagan will strike while Kim is changing into her gym clothes. After the tighty whities go up, Teagan will pull Kim out of the locker room and into the hallway. The cherry on top of this embarrassing event will be the fact that Kim is going to be tied up to a wall of lockers with no way to escape!

Halloween is over and the spirits are pleased, so now it's time to return to school. One of Kim's first classes is gym class, which means having to change into her gym clothes in the locker room. Everyone in there will get to see her tighty whities once she pulls down her tripp pants, making her an easy target. The good news for Kim is that she doesn't share gym class with Teagan, the bad news is that this bit of information would never stop Teagan from waltzing into Kim's gym class for some fun! Teagan is in the mood for some public humiliation, and what better time for that than a class where Kim has to willingly strip down to nothing except her tighty whities?

Teagan's first option is to keep the public spectacle limited to the gymnasium. She could give Kim an atomic wedgie and stuff her fat ass into one of the basketball hoops. Kim's buns would be on display for the whole class until the teacher gets her down at the end of the period. Of course with such a vulnerable pair of cheeks out in the open, I'm sure a couple of basketballs will make contact a few times.

The second option is to involve the rest of the students. Teagan could give Kim a regular wedgie so that her butt cheeks are again on display. Then she could drag Kim into the hallway and tie her wrists and ankles to the wall of lockers. There would be no escape for Kim as the entire school walks behind her and gets an unobstructed view of her wedgied booty.

The night grows long as several figures make their way to the pumpkin patch. It isn't long before two are hung up while a witchy ritual begins. The sound of tender skin being smacked rings out across the dark woods surrounding Ashwood...

Unfortunately for Eveline, the pink belly has only just begun. She's got a long night ahead of her! As for Kim...Well, her services aren't needed. She can leave whenever her tighty whities rip. Who knows how long that will take?

Nerds come in all shapes, sizes, and locations. Climbing to the top of the post was basically like getting the highest grade in the class, which makes Mulan a nerd. With one weight representing dorky hobbies and the other weight representing awkwardness, Mulan has proven that she is a nerd worthy of the highest hanging wedgie!

Also, this sketch should have been done last week, but I'm a bit behind schedule. Apologies for that!

One last input: Rep Hazard

One last thing I'm interested in getting some input on before uploading more comics is the actual title of the series. Up until now it's been Rep Hazard, but I've been thinking of changing it recently.

Once I started doing more world building and writing things out I found that I wasn't 100% satisfied with the Rep Hazard title. It's fine overall, but for me it didn't really flow as well as I wanted it to and possibly wasn't going to fit with the mood/themes/attitude I want to aim for going forward. I figured if I am going to consider changing it then I should do it sooner rather than later.

The Rep Hazard title was originally chosen because I was more focused on Kim and planned on her constantly worrying about her reputation in the school. The whole series was going to focus solely on her and her bizarre math for figuring out social standing. I still plan on Kim doing that, but upon developing some of the other characters and building up the world around her, the title felt a little limited.

I like the idea of this series being a more slice of life style that regularly involves classic Hollywood bullying tactics and scenarios. I started searching for titles a little over a month ago and am sort of getting attached to Far From Cool. It feels a little more broad and might pair better with the series I have in mind. Another runner up was Dorkface, but that felt a little too forward (maybe for another series I'm thinking of...).

I'm curious about your thoughts on it. Do you prefer Rep Hazard? Is there an issue with Far From Cool? Do you have any suggestions you'd want me to consider? Like I've said in earlier posts, I probably don't really need to ask, but it feels nice to get some input on it. You all have been very supportive of me over the years and I like hearing what you have to say =)

What is a swirly if not filtering toilet water through a dork's hair? Granted the toilet water is clean and doesn't need filtering...And the dork's face also gets shoved into the water...Oh well. I don't think Jessie Rasberry minds much. Hailey on the other hand...

Looking for input: Names

While I haven't been posting a bunch of Rep Hazard related stuff recently, I have been doing some creation behind the scenes. I've been figuring out the layout of the town as well as the names + designs of various locations. I've also been reworking some of the girls, writing small bios and tweaking some of their outfits, along with giving each of them a name. Kim's appearance has changed for the dozenth time (I think this will be the last one for a long while) as well as Eveline's and Amber's. In doing so I've found a few things I wouldn't mind some input on.

The spelling of 'Eveline' has bounced between Eveline and Evelyn over the past year without me realizing it. I think I'm going to stick with Eveline as it feels more formal, but if someone has a good argument for the -lyn spelling then I could do that one.

The other name is Logan's. When I originally gave Logan her name she was a sort of blank slate student and I liked the unisex name, but after writing her bio and giving her a gossip + preppy vibe I don't think I like the pairing as much. The last name is completely flexible, but I'd like her first name to be more inline with the airhead, gossip personality. I'm thinking of Madison or a more feminine name like Lainey or Macy, but I'm not sure and wouldn't mind some input.

I could just make these changes unannounced and move on, but it feels a little weird to not give a sort of heads up when some of these characters have been around for a bit now. For the names in particular, all the students have been named and Logan is the only currently revealed student that I'm interested in changing. I've still got a handful of students to redraw, but none whose names I'm looking to edit. So this should be the final character shift before everything becomes more consistent.

I can't say I really know anything about Scott Pilgrim or Knives Chau. By extension, Hailey doesn't know much about Knives either. But that shouldn't stop the feisty goth from dishing out a wicked wedgie, should it?

Chosen font

After some deliberating I ended up choosing a font. I tried out about a dozen more fonts from dafont, but they all had little issues that made me hesitant to move forward with them. Some were too thick, some were too stylized, some had weird letters, and some were unclear on licensing. I went back to the Blambot fonts and experimented with the horizontal + vertical percentages, and that got some interesting results.

I ended up choosing Plot Holes and shrinking the percentages a bit to make it a little more thin. It's not perfect as the text gets thicker if I use a bigger size, needing to redo the percentages again, but I kind of like the look. I've currently got a comic page done using this edited version of Plot Holes and I think I'm going to stick with it. Though I can't post the comic yet for certain reasons...

With that being said, the font isn't the only bit of input I wanted. I've been reworking some character designs, tweaking color palettes, and doing some writing to fill out the actual 'character' of the girls. One girl in particular I'd like to change the name of, so that will get posted in a day or so. First I've got to do the Weekly Sketch as that's a week late by this point.

Looking for Input: Font 2

Here's the second round of fonts. I removed some of the fonts I felt didn't work and tweaked the ones that did. This piece was a little rushed, but it's close enough to how my work usually looks to get a decent visual for how well the fonts pair with it.

Some personal takes on the fonts: I was a little surprised so many people liked Back Issues. If I was going by popular vote then that one would definitely win. However, I feel like when placed next to my work it's a little too bold. I had similar issues with Plotholes, Kid Kosmic, and Komika (even the thinnest version). Evil Genius ended up feeling a little too action focused. Crimefighter and Komika felt a little too friendly/wholesome.

I'm leaning towards a thinner font as I think it doesn't call too much attention to itself. Digital Strip seems nice, but I'm worried it's a little too basic. Anime Ace is probably a safe choice. It's really popular, but I kind of want a more unique font. ACME Secret Agent feels extremely close to Anime Ace, just a little less bold.

I've recently been looking into trying different dialogue fonts for Rep Hazard. I've been using stock fonts from Clip Studio, but wanted to put more effort into the style chosen for the comic. These are a bunch of free fonts that I got mostly from Blambot. After messing with the spacing some I think they look decent. Some of these I like more than others, but I wanted to get some actual input on if they look good/are legible. It's a little bit crammed, but I think you can get a sense of each font.

Also, forgive the awkward numbering. I originally had 6 fonts, then got more, and then got more again.

The dialogue itself is from a piece I've done a day ago to test out different fonts. If I can narrow down the font choices to 2-3 then I'll try inserting them into that piece for more input.

I've got a few slightly updated character designs, some fonts for dialogue that I can't choose between, and a possible rework for Rep Hazard as a whole. The questions won't be Patreon exclusive, but I wanted to post them here first. Some stuff I'm pretty lost on and am looking for input, other stuff I think I've already decided on, but still want other opinions before committing to.

It's that time of year again. The darkness grows and the cool air consumes the town of Ashwood. In particular, the Ashwood coven of the Witching Kris is looking forward to this time where the earth is infused with the spirits of darkened realms. Scout and Sydney are looking to appease the spirits with a sacrifice. Scout is determined to find a suitable peer to take to the neighboring pumpkin patch, strap them onto a scarecrow post, and deliver a pink belly until the sun rises.

After communing with the spirits Scout has learned that they would prefer a slim bodied sacrifice this year. There are two obvious choices for the coven: the feisty Hailey or the intelligent Evelyn. Surely the spirits would appreciate the essence of either one, but which one will the duo of witches be able to get?

To be safe, Kim will also be captured and kept on stand-by. Scout and Sydney will surely be able to get either Hailey or Evelyn for this event, but Kim will be hung up on a nearby fence post by her tighty whities just in case her belly is needed. Kim's belly is a little more portly than what the spirits requested, but we can't risk having no pink belly sacrifice on this hallowed night, now can we?

Poor Ashley, if she isn't being kidnapped by a death cult then she's being bullied with her own underwear. She isn't particularly known for her fighting abilities so I don't think she'll be getting away from Hailey anytime soon...

After finding the two preps that had been gossiping about them, Sam and Amanda dished out a couple of revenge wedgies. To top it off, the duo were then shoved into a couple of trashcans (and Logan's wedgie got a little messy in the process!).

Even after all that I'm not sure Savannah and Logan fully understand why it happened. Oh well, they may not be the smartest girls in school, but at least they're pretty!

Just like we learned last month, just because you're nerdy over something cool doesn't mean you aren't a nerd. Gunsmith Bitch may have a pretty cool hobby, but at the end of the day she is still a nerd, a dork, a dweeb, and she needs a good wedgie on the regular as a result!

It looks like Sam Sparks didn't know that she wouldn't just be reporting on the weather in town. The poor weather dork has been reassigned to delivering the latest bully news, all the swirlies, all the wedgies, and all the pants stealing happening around town. I wonder if she knows about the flagpole wedgie happening on Friday...I'm sure she does, seeing as she'll be the one getting it!
