Im guessing that’s the key to remaining somewhat within your mind. The og son too. He was already suicidal before and started tweaking on the roof when he was getting clapped so he was probably already injected i think? Maybe he went full goon after he fell off the roof and actually died? Idk but that’s my theory so far

2025-04-08 10:58:17 +0000 UTCI agree that there are good villains and I do have characters I love just because they're amazing villains, like Mahito from JJK or the queen in AIB. But usually I tend to like the villains that are just plain crazy or good actors. This guy has fought only for himself, sacrificed multiple people, and committed sexual crimes. Glad for the actor that he did such a great job but the character is too distasteful for me to really do anything but hate him even if stabs some zombies. I will say this is my first watch so idk what he does in the future, but yeah I was just pointing out what I noticed about how they reacted to each character, no harm meant.

Pink sweater girl and knife-wielding bully were both rattiest of rats, both undeserving of redemption, both killed people and ruined lives (bully more so) and yet the reactions to them were so different. Whenever Pink Sweater was on screen, geks were losing their mind with annoyance and praying for her death every other minute, but in this episode, Mr. knife maniac kills a few zombies and suddenly he's the goat. niragi or whatever his name was from AIB wasn't redeemed of attempted r*pe after he helped them with the team game. a character is still gonna be a piece of shit even if they cook bruh, don't start cheering for trash just cause they impress you

Now that you're delving into kdramas/asian live-action series, I would be so stoked if you were to ever react to a BL series (BL = Boys Love = same-sex romance) Based on my understanding of your ‘collective’ preferences, I'd highly recommend: -Love For Love's Sake (Korean series) : short summary -> it tells the story of a guy who gets sent into the world of a novel and has the mission to make one of the characters happy within a year or else he’ll die. [8 episodes of 30-40 minutes each] -Triage (Thai series): short summary -> it’s about a doctor in ER who finds himself stuck in a time loop one day. He realises that the loop begins when a specific emergency patient, a young university student (from a car accident) dies, so he finds a way to befriend this patient to learn his true cause of death so that the doctor can try and save him and prevent the loop from continuing. [12 episodes of 40 minutes] -Our Youth (Japanese drama): short summary -> two highschoolers from very different social backgrounds, one from a wealthy family and studious, and one being a delinquent and from an abusive and poorer family, unexpectedly grow close. Minase Jin, the ‘studious’ student, categorises people in the world in three ways: perpetrators, victims, and bystanders. He categorises himself as the latter, but when he comes to see that Hirukawa (the ‘delinquent’) is not what he seems to be, his worldview starts to change. [11 episodes of 30 minutes each] -Word Of Honor (Chinese drama - compared to the other queer series, this one is less overt about the same-sex romance because of censorship but it’s still very clear): Summary -> this is set in a fictional ancient china with some supernatural elements. 20 years ago, there was a huge battle amongst many clans who are all looking for the ‘glazed armory’, a secret place that apparently holds the secrets to immortality and boundless power. Twenty years later, Zhou Zi Shu, our protagonist, is from a reputable clan but has become over the years (this is all the premise-not a spoiler), an assassin from the ‘Window of heaven’, an association which doesn’t let anyone leave. The only way out is to engrave seven nails into your body which will make you lose your five senses and will make you die in three years, on top of losing all your martial art skills. The protagonist intends on leaving to become free from the politics of this world, so he cleverly put a nail into his body every three months. This will make him lose his senses slowly, he only loses half of his martial art skills and he can live freely for three years. All to start a new life, and he disguises himself so that no one can find him or recognise him. Meanwhile, his future love interest, Wen Ke Xing is the leader of the Ghost Valley (a group of villainous outcasts). He is also disguising himself whilst travelling and he meets Zhou Zhi Shu by coincidence. The two, with a few other characters, unexpectedly become a group that travels together and get caught up in secrets about the ‘glazed armory’. [36 episodes of 1H each] The good thing is that a lot of BL series tend to be quite short -but detailed - so depending on the BL series, it could be completed in only two to three rounds of reactions (a lot of them are only 8 to 12 episodes that only last 30min). Don’t know if it’ll ever happen but I can only hope haha, thank you for your reactions, I really love them (especially the One Piece reactions) And sorry for the long comment lol

Imagine if a 9.9 earthquake happened to one town and a bunch of looting happened. Someone took a video of you. You would probably want it gone. Turns out 9.9 earthquake was actually a worldwide nuke. The video doesn’t matter anymore. Context matters and they themselves don’t really know the scale as it’s only been a day.

You'll get the answers in the next couple of episodes. Cheong-san is my favorite character as well. He's so well written and Su-Hyeok is also goated. I love their friendship/bond. And Orangibberish's character is the perfect dose of comedy relief to ease up some of the darkness and bleak moments... lol Gosh, I just love the intensity/dynamics of the show. It gives you a good buildup and makes you anticipate its every move. I'm excited for the next couple of episodes!!
