They went training together in that filler, but then Jiraiya got some information regarding akatsuki (i think) and had to leave Naruto to train alone with the toads. He invented a nice combined jutsu where he uses his wind style to comebine with with a water blast from one of the toads. He was literally sitting on its back and channeling his wind style jutsu through the toad to create a greater blast.

I’ve loved Kakashi since I first started watching this show in 2007 and now, I respect and empathize with his character even more. I feel his loneliness and understand how deeply layered his background makes him. He’s smart, effortlessly cool, and mysterious. As a ninja, he can be ruthless when necessary, yet he’s also supportive, humorous, and fiercely loyal. I love that even his quirks, like his love for Icha Icha, never change. He’s incredibly talented, balanced in power, and always true to himself. It’s hard to fully capture him without spoilers, but I’d love to meet someone like him—or Naruto—in real life.

Just wanna temper the expectations because they are clearly not enjoying the show right now which is COMPLETELY FAIR. It will never be the “best show” in any aspect but for me it will always mean more. Also this show is definitely a binge type show theres just too much bs before the good stuff.
