I like that Zoro is having flashbacks of crew and wonders if they are okay when he is having his near death experience. After these thoughts he gets his “power up”. Being strong for its own sake wouldn’t help zoro further I think but his duty and desire to protect his crew allowed him to go further and get stronger.

Yeah i definitely feel for the geks , it seems like a lot of their long running shows end up with volatile comment sections due to the fact they do real reactions. People are so attached to the shows they feel personally attacked if some of the geks don’t like a small moment or even an episode. When it’s comes to world hyping one piece I hope the boys won’t expect one piece to be amazing for the same reasons shows like JJK and HxH are hyped for. Maybe Attack on titan for the depth and complexity of the story/world but not the fighting. Please don’t expect one piece to be seen as one of the best because of the fights, that is not one of the reasons it became so loved(imo). One piece only started getting consistent amazing fight animation love around 2019, alabasta came out in 2002.

Yes Cannon he is not perfect but the pacing in the manga is very good. Actually rarely a manga would have pacing issues bcs of the way it tells a story, like multiple dialogues on the same page so no need for characters to talk one by one, no unnecessary scenes as writers wouldn’t waste time to draw anything not important.

It’s really a broken record at this point but literally every Zoro moment in this show is so freakin good. The most insane thing to think about is that Zoro vs Mr 1 aired in 2002 over TWENTY TWO YEARS AGO and 3 years before OG naruto even aired. I think Brig picked up on it, but I like that Zoro still outclassed Mr. 1 skill-wise before learning the rythm. I definitely wasnt expecting Zoro and Luffy to be as strong as they were when I started, and that was part of the hook for me. For some reason Zoro's reputation in the verse being basically equal to Luffy's increases the hype.

I wonder if it's possible for the geks to limit people to only writing one or two comments of their own and one or two under other people's comments. Recently I've been finding the comment sections of all videos loaded with people just writing over 5 comments of their own or others writing under every person's comments.
