I was trying to find the connections. You can catch the other files briefly when Mark scrolls through. They are labeled after cities and historic events. It could very well be nothing but I had to try 😄

Hopefully they will reveal it soon as I don’t think it should be dragged out all season. Also not sure why Dylan has taken 5 months to go back to work, his outie would have had no reason to not go back the next day, unless he was fired? Almost the same for Irv because he didn’t make contact with anyone outside. Obviously a lot has happened in the outside in that 5 months (if it has even been that long?), can’t wait to find out.

And she would NEVER send herself to interact with “innies”. They way she is acting uncomfortable is because she feels guilty and ashamed for findinf out her literal self is such a big part of all her friends suffering this life. Thats why she was reciting the breakroom chant in the bathroom last episode S1 “sorry for all hurt ive caused this world”. helly feels bad. She hates her outie and therefore who she in part is.

2025-01-19 00:59:02 +0000 UTCI recommend watching season one again. I watched this for the first time with y'all and missed soo much. Or maybe just rewatch the third episode "In Perpetuity." That epsiode alone combined with what we know now reinforces my theory. I believe they are creating artifical immortality/intelligence and exploring postbiological evolution. Kier and his daughter Myrtle's speech hints at why they "infantilize" the workers. Irving also speaks about having no history & being shapeless. History being so important because it makes us someone & gives us context. They are refining their own consciousness which is being transmitted into digital form via the chip in their brain. The refiners are helping "tame" the four components (tempers) Kier spoke of. Those chips could very well be uploaded into machines or maybe the goats we saw as test subjects. (maybe Ms. Huang is A.I) I don't think it's a coincidence that there's five buckets & they showed us five past CEO's in detail. They could be the end goal. Some easter eggs of prolonged life was the quote on the wall by Kier- "Remember man does not decay" & the episode title alone "In Perpetuity" means "forever." I don't know, it's just a theory. I could very well be going down a rabbit hole. 🤭 The writing deserves soo much respect, hence my bizarre theory. I have faith that the answer will be very complex & existential🤯 But I hope they don't fail the ending like so many shows do🙏

I'm 99% sure she's helena (outie) - cuz of subtle hints like not knowing where the power switch was at the end of the episode. To me, that's a dead giveaway. like... how often do u forget how to turn on ur PC or laptop that u use everyday... and especially considering that for an innie, that's literally all they do, they wouldn't forget that. We all know that the creators wouldnt add that random ass frame for no reason. + Her reaction to when Mark revealed that Ms. Casey was his wife didn't seem genuine coming from a person who developed feelings for Mark - it just sort of felt like she didnt care?? Her saying that "our innie and outie selves are DIFFERENT" still aligns with Helena's perspective because she hated her innie self in season 1 as shown in the videos she sent to her. OR 2. She's helly but didnt tell the truth cuz she either (1) doesn't want her coworkers to view her differently and blame her OR (2) she experienced something in between the speech and the time she went back down the elevator during the episode which made her not reveal her experience (idk what exactly).... but I'm leaning towards theory 1 because her speech in the bathroom at the end of season 1 was made with so much conviction, i can't see helly NOT revealing her experience to her innie coworkers for ANY reason. It just doesn't fit her character who is driven and wants to get OUT. To me, shes gotta be Helena --- calling it now.

Jame Eagan also mentioned “the grandfather” (who is Kier) in episode 9

Events or location could be related to what really happened or is happening to Gemma. Her vitals are also being tracked & we see that Mark is "refining" her. If you look to the bottom, each box have initials that represent the four tempers. (woe, dread, frolic, malice) I'll have to go back to season one and see what the other files were called. This is next level consciousness programming!

And another thing, why exactly would they allow Helly to come back to work? She was THE reason there was ever even an uprising. But then thinking from another perspective maybe Helena not going back to work would be bad press after what just happened? Idk this shows so goated
