However, I think watching the '97 anime is still entertaining and gives you the feel of the story if you are on the fence of reading it, and should speed up the need to reading the manga for them imo.

2024-10-25 17:46:45 +0000 UTCyeah like everyone else here has said, its just out of respect to the Manga, ive been told its a much better read than it is to watch the anime cause none of the adaptations have done the manga justice so far same shit goes for Tokyo Ghoul S1 is great then S2 they said Fuck following the Manga and S3 was rushed to hell but the Manga is absolutely beautiful

2024-10-25 17:44:17 +0000 UTCThe ‘97 anime is a good adaptation when you compare it to other ‘recent’ Berserk anime, but it’s still not the perfect anime for Berserk, some things are omitted from the manga in the ‘97 anime. You just gotta read the manga, that’s where Berserk is peak and goated.
