It's just the drawback with weekly shonen of those years, they would always fear catching up to the source material and hence would drawn out episodes and add some filler to stretch the running time as much as possible. That said, the upside to weekly shonen is that we get a level of narrative detail and worldbuilding that is simply not possible in today's seasonal, more rushed out Anime. It's like the difference between reading a book and watching a movie about it.

So I would suggest Narucannon, since it keeps those anime only moments that people consider great and it has better quality as well. I don’t see any downside to using Narucannon, other than the episodes being longer, while cutting out titles and ending songs, which can make it hard for the geks to find a good stopping point for the next batch if they don’t feel like watching the full 1 hour and 40 minutes. One is coming up actually, great episode, but TBH the show picks up at Shippuden episode 55. From there it's ALL gas. they finally get the pacing under control and it's peak. AFTER 55, you can enjoy one of the best shows out there. Just want to temper expectations, trust me, it's worth it when u get there

A lot of people watching these reactions grew up with the show and were obsessed with it as kids. Now that we're older, we get that it has its flaws, but it still holds a special place for many of us. If you're looking for a quick, fun anime to get into, I'd recommend Kaiju No. 8. And for something like a GoT-level anime, check out Attack on Titan. These aren’t the only ones that fit those categories, just picked those that the geks already watched.

Although the better comparison would actually be to HxH's powersystem, where Sakura essentially does the equivalent of GYO(or an advanced form of it) in terms of chakra manipulation. It would still require some general physical strength(given how chakra itself works), but most of the impact would be attributed to Chakra control.

I'm not an anime "fan" but liked watching Netflix' Seven Deadly Sins and ppl like Jujutsu Kaisen which I started and looked good but life got in the way.

2024-10-11 21:40:33 +0000 UTCNaruto has amazing moments but is so painfully slow that I cannot, in good conscious, reccomend it to anyone who isn't already a shounen fan. Try Attack on Titan, it is pretty consistent and has no filler.

2024-10-11 21:39:39 +0000 UTCThe older gen of the Battle-shonen genre aint for everyone, tbh. It makes sense why ALOT of people wouldnt like it, its sort of meant for younger boys coming from school. Watch DeathNote, its a damn classic and has both a good subbed/dubbed voice acting so you can watch it in English if you want. The pacing is also elite imo. AOT should be your next watch right after, and its GOATED.

2024-10-11 20:59:23 +0000 UTCI’m a silent watcher and have been on and off patreon for Game of thrones and now that it’s been ending I’ve been trying to get into anime since I’ve never seen it, and I don’t mean to offend anyone but I decided to try this Naruto because I’ve heard about it since I was young and it is probably the most disappointing watch I’ve ever had. It’s had a few really good moments but for the most part has been really mediocre most of the time and I’m just burned out. I really want to try to get into anime since the geks like it and was wondering what some suggestions you guys have? Once again I don’t mean to be rude but I just am wanting another show to dive into since game of thrones is over😢

It's more like Yuji in JJK doing a black flash. It's about releasing the chakra at the perfect moment which requires really good chakra control, something she was always good at.

If anyone enjoys Akira Ishida in this role give Showa Rakugo Genroku Shinjuu a try for one or if not THE best VA performances in anime I've ever witnessed.
