I'm going off what other people said that watched it. Y'all also said it cuts the filler padding out, but the one episode we saw did not do that at all, and instead cut a very emotional scene between nami and her mom. That tells me everything I need to know that one pace is trash lol it took them several years to add the arlong park walk into one pace after enough people complained about it not being there. So it's this constant arbitrary line that shifts whenever it wants? Nah, I'll stick to what oda and the actual professional story board writers and animators have in mind for the adaptation lol

@Zess so that’s why no need of One Pace now, especially like ep44 or this one. But some arcs like dressrosa def need One Pace. It did not cut off good scenes but way better pacing and less repetitive flashbacks. Otherwise the dragging would make Geks suffer, as you have already seen them complaining about pacing of Chimera Ant and Naruto. Watching several episodes in row is different from watching 1 episode weekly. You could compare the two version by yourself to know why it’s needed for some arcs.

I was thinking they should get a Mod before, but what's the point if they spoil it for themselves. Brig talks about the post he saw about one piece and later would make his supposed predictions. Once you see a few posts you are likely to see 30 more. Also Jack, stating how much you like a character when they have just been introduced could be a spoiler. I don't know what theory he said. Brig said he saw a post and those online posts will spoil you more than the comment section. Maybe not now but things could be pieced together and used to make some "predictions" later.

I'm fairly certain he did, it's the one old movie that gets hyped up a lot in the community. It looks different front the rest, and of course feels different. If it's not him, I'm mixing him up with some other old legendary anime director lol but I'm pretty sure it's him.

then it's just my personal preference speaking... the reason i tolerate east blue is bc of our crew, a huge chunk of it is character building and i could sit through that no matter how long. with l.g. though 80% of it is fighting, which im not a fan of, so my opinion is biased.

I would argue east blue arc’s pacing is so dog water and the rest of One Piece is all significantly faster paced (not including post-TS)

idk about that... l.g. stalls for no reason imo and a**** has its fair share of side quests. but the saga overall is good enough to cover up all those misses.

There are arguments for some arcs before 500 but IMO it’s not needed. Those few arcs were also slow in the Manga!

Around episode 500 is when they should definitely switch over to One Pace but I could see them use it for a few arcs before that as well

If they binge I recommend binging big arcs not the mini ones like the ones coming up. That way it won’t feel draining to them watching a big arc every week

Would love to see them do binges for certain stretches of the show like the conclusion of major arcs
