Since a ninja could apply to the Anbu once they are Chunin, and some of them can even be div captains as Tokebetsu Jonins(jonins that only achieve that rank by just being more exceptional at a particular skill). Only Elite Anbu Black Ops, Div Captains and Hokage Guard Anbus are all likely on the top level of Jonins. Other than that most of them are likely High-Chunin or really low-Jonin level.

It's just that many fans were pretty dissapointed with this fight and felt that Gaara deserved to be stronger than shown. I feel like: 1) He wasn't prepared for Deidara, Deidara was prepared for him (he says not, but he still knew he was fighting Gaara while the opposite wasn't true). 2)Gaara had to protect the village, so he couldn't go all out like he did with Kimimaro. Deidara didn't have to worry about that, matter of fact, he used it to his advantage 3) Like I said, it was a very unlucky matchup for him. Gaara specializes in defense, not in offense, and he has very limited mobility. Deidara on the other hand is a ranged fighter with very high mobility. It doesn't matter how good Gaara's defense is, if you keep bombarding it from a distance it will eventually crumble, same way even a bunker will eventually come down if it receives enough damage. Sasori is probably stronger than Deidara, given how much the latter respects him, but he would probably get rektd by Gaara considering their abilities. Styles make fights.

His performance in this fight doesn't really represent how strong he is. Also, this fight is set up in order to establish the Akatsuki as this truly powerful, smart and dangerous group, rather than to establish Gaara as a weak Kage, imo.

Hiruzen (the 3rd) and Tsunade are all legendary ninjas that have made their names years ago, but Gaara is still very young and has a lot of potentials to develop. I think in OG Naruto it was mentioned that the hidden sand was a weaker village than the hidden leaf. So certain jonins from the hidden leaf might even be stronger than Gaara.

At its peaks however, it definitely competes with the likes of JJK, Demon Slayer and high tier Fate Series fights. It tends to use less colors and effects than most modern anime, also has practically no impact frames and whatnot. Yet something about the way the top fights are choreographed and directed make it soo amazing... It feels like a combination of HxH and Dragon Ball fights but with generally Sakuga level choreography(both series having peak fights ofc).

2024-09-20 23:06:12 +0000 UTC24:30 the problem with anime eps and its titles is related to Japan's culture in watching Anime, I may be wrong but after asking Japanese people I know they told me the same answer, I asked them why tf do titles and openings/endings spoil a lot of the show and I told them how I do not understand why it is even there, why not make a title and opening that does not spoil, they told me that in Japan usually anime watchers are manga readers in the first place, we read manga more than watch anime, thus why in openings, titles, or even trailers you would see a lot of spoilers. from what I heard that is the reason even though I wish they fix it, I think mainly it is older anime that does this, HxH for example does have great titles, not too far in spoiling but related to the ep

In terms of animation and fast paced fighting, naruto doesn’t really compete w jjk in my opinion. I think for someone who is used to more modern anime, naruto can definitely be hard to get into especially if a lot of the people who are recommending it are saying the fights are crazy. They are fantastic, just not what you would expect if you’ve only seen modern anime.

They do talk in fights, as in most anime, and Naruto usually does have a post fight conversation about ideologies which imo are welcomed. People hate on the N***** talk but I think it was very necessary to have that conversation, now, that doesn't excuse the plot conveniences on the arc if you know what I mean but it has nothing to do with talk no jutsu. Like, if you hate "talk no jutsu" you'd hate Naruto's post fight conversation with Gaara, which imo is good

You have the advantage of being relatively free of discourse that surrounds any very popular shounen series and the discourse has always been especially toxic in regards to Naruto because people grew up with this show and for many is the first introduction to heavier themes and topics. All I'm gonna say is that Naruto obviously has a lot of flaws but a lot of fans of this show are also, excuse me for this, dumb. They don't read, they don't watch, they don't care about themes and storytelling and they continue to perpetuate wrong ideas through memes that eventually gives the series a poor reputation. It's not about what elements and themes are used in a story, it's about how a story implements it. Naruto has always been an ostracised character that seeked to connect to others. This show bangs on about bonds so much and people still miss it and say this show is about 'hard work vs. talent' . In this specific show, 'Talk-no-Jutsu' has it's place. Now it's for the boys to decide when it should be used or not but I hope they keep an open mind and decide for themselves and not let memes or other stuff impact them. I say this because I can very quickly see how the comment sections for Naruto can devolve into what the GoT comment sections are and you guys even had to address people in a separate video
