Hey Everyone!
Happy new year and wish you all a great 2026! Just a quick dev blog update for you all, after a very busy end of the year we usually take January as a time to do some tech upgrades and clean up some bugs and issues.
We’re especially taking time looking into trying to bump FPS count when you’re out and about in the open world and we’re changing up the way we handle a lot of Quest NPCs which has been working out for us with the newest quests.
The next major story line quest is in the works right now along with some new DSS assets and we have our planned content blocks for the next few months decided on and the voice acting is going out soon; expect a return to UE4 Sabu and some of our key characters.
If any major bugs pop up there will be a bug fix/performance update that’ll come out in the next couple of weeks, if not, it’ll come bundled with the first content update of the year.

It's that time of year once again. You deck the halls with boughs of holly, gather up all your most festive tracks in a playlist, and search across the dunes for sufficient lube to allow a "trapped" woman to slip free from a giant pot.
Well, perhaps not that last one.
But fear not; we have you covered. This year's update is now LIVE for ALL GAME ACCESS TIERS (AVATAR+) and will stuff your stocking fit to bursting... we've a heavy sack of goodies just for you... at the outset it looks smaller but it'll keep growing the longer you play with it... a real hands-on update... okay, I've got that out of my system. Mostly.

The new mini-quest "Honeypot" is the introduction for an ongoing chain that will involve the new romance NPC Onha, a larger girl from distant lands, far to the west of the Narthossi Empire.

Whilst she will have much more to offer in 2026, for now she's stuck and is relying on you to help her out... and also free her from the pot. In no way is this a ruse... she's definitely stuck... for real. Honestly. Why are you so cynical about this?

So far so good. But then we were thinking "What we really need in a Christmas update is something Christmassy", if that's a word. We realised it wouldn't be the same without tasty-treats... striped-poles... being so excited in bed that you can't sleep... so naturally we added this completely unrelated variant skin of the Draconid Genitals instead.

Any suggestion that it bears an intentional similarity to a particular festive confectionary is entirely wrongheaded. Look, it was this or Santa's Hat an Ancient San'tah Cowl.
Needless to say, I was outvoted.
I suppose there's always next year... or April Fools

Hey Everyone! We're back with a Major Content Update, three new quests, a plethora of new Cock Cosmetics and more!
The latest main story quest is now available bringing the Inquisition of Bast and Cult of Anubis Faction Storylines to a pivotal moment making you choose a side. In the Ruins of the Sacred Steps both sides have sent forces to retrieve a powerful artifact and when the player arrives both sides are ready for Battle.
You must choose a side and this will lock the other factions story from you going forward. You will delve deeper into both Factions' storylines in the coming updates.
This quest includes a new playable Instrument which gives you buffs for battle and coercion, great in any situation.

Three new mini-quests have come with this update to bring life to different parts of the world.
Quality of Copper - Resolve a trade dispute between a less than scrupulous Minoan and their unhappy customers.
Would You? - A thief has been roaming Drakoq Port stealing food, bring an end to their crimes which are being ignored by the watch.
Whose Who - Settle a tense situation between an Anubite and Gilded fold herder over a Slave.

We have added 5 new Genital Options this update, bringing huge variety for you and your many partners to enjoy.

Hey Everyone! We're back with a big Update, three new quests, a dungeon, a weapon, a boss fight and more! Let's get into it!
Continuing with the Anubite Quest chain, Amhak has been searching for clues for more Ritual Vessel locations; delve into Kab'Siron and unlock it's secrets and avoid drowning!

This is a new Major Story Quest for the Anubites which has a new dungeon, tonnes of dialog, unlocks new sorcery, unlocks new sex NPCs in the Anubite Camp nearby Amansi and Astari and a boss fight. This quest directly leads on from A Bump in the Path.

Rumours of a pleasure palace have been floating about nearby the Gilded fold, but they're not what it seems, drop in on this quest on your newly re-vamped area between Tal'Senet and the Gilded Fold.
A little far from home and shipwrecked there's a herder in need, free some drowning formless slaves from the Euphoris and determine their fate and earn from future reputation with the fold or the Inquisition.
Hakor felt a little lonely being left out in the sands of Mehden, we've added the option for players who've paid for their 'trial Aadi' to bring Hakor back over to Tal'Senet and then they can unlock advanced Aadi riding for a speed boost. Hakor is planned to sell more Aadi accessories in the future!
Droughtpiercer is a new weapon reward from Finders Keepers, this trident has a similar moveset to the Spear but comes with an added swim sprint bonus for getting around and escaping those pesky Sobek.
A lot of work has gone into improving Sabu the past couple of months, improving and revamping existing areas, changing the look of the world and making the areas more usable.
As always with the game being in-progress, a lot of things do get broken and we've been on a spree of fixes recently. From non-compliant NPCs, Dungeon lighting, to Boob Sizing and Physics we hope you notice the game behaving a lot more now! If you do ever run into anything please let us know in our bug report discord channel.

Hey Everyone!
The long awaited Update dropped for Ascended+ Patrons last Friday on the Launcher, since then we've been bug fixing and have dropped three hotfix patches and so we totally forgot to update you all on Patreon! Most of this update was covered in our Dev Blogs, but let's go through everything we've added!
Customization was one of our biggest focuses this update, bringing you a huge new array of customization options for your character.
We've remade all the old Human Hair with new models, materials and with the ability for you to pick your own Hair Colours.

Because sharing is caring, all of the 6 revamped hair styles are now also available on Felian and Jackals. For all Forms we've picked out "Canon" and non-canon hair colours, giving you the choice between what we've curated as the best look for the form and giving you the choice to have any option you'd like to be.
Tattoos have come to Sabu with this update, bringing different styles and colours for every form and body type (except formless).


In the customization menu you can pick through different Tattoo styles, selections, choose the colour, pigment blend and give the tattoos a metallic sheen (this is especially great for Draconids and Crocs); this update brings 12 Tattoo Styles and 29 Tattoo Colours so far.
Similar to Body Markings, Makeup is now available for every form and body type, giving you 11 Makeup Styles and 25 Makeup Colours to choose from.

Eye colour has been a long requested feature that we've now added and made available for All Forms and Body Types minus Crocodiles and Formless due to their unique eye situation.
62 Unique Eyes are available so far with CatsEye and Round Pupils available, similar to Hair, we've curated Canon Eye colours for every Form, but you're free to choose any that you'd like!
Boob Physics and Ass Physics have been changed with this update, with boobs receiving physics enhancements and some extra logic for fitting and being managed by clothing and scaling properly with size for those who like to have a smaller chest.
Ass physics got some love, with the junk in the trunk having some extra bounce and spring, this is most noticeable when the sliders cranked up. This is utilizing a lot of the work we already put in for the DSS scenes.
Humans were long overdue some TLC and so along with the above cosmetic upgrades, they've got some specific changes.
-Complexion

Humans were looking a bit pristine despite being baked in the Sabu Sun for so long, so we've upgraded their Skin Colours and added some tan lines. This is completely optional between Sunkissed, Tanned and Unblemished Complexions which are available in the Cosmetic Shrine.
-Body Hair

Our Humans were looking a bit bare in the Body Hair department, choose between a trimmed and managed look or go WILD. Four body hair options are available for all Human Subforms.
-New Face Morphs

Humans now have access to 8 new face morphs to replace the two ethnicity sliders that were there before, giving you far more control over the look and style of each human face. This along with hair colours, eye colours and defaults makes each Human Subform much more distinct. Look forward in the future to seeing more humans in the world!

Four new DSS2 scenes are available this update:
Sarratu the Queen Drake, our long awaited Drake companion has found herself captured in Dra'koq isle at the hands of Exotic breeder Ozier. Enter her pit at your peril as you may find yourself at her mercy.
Ozier, the Nubian Centaur, our latest Centaur scene, the Dominant male will treat you as their personal broodmare given the opportunity but this scene is available for all Forms and Body Types.
Sarratu's Gatekeeper is available for players to give blowjobs and is easily distracted from his duties. This however is not a repeatable scene as Sarratu's Gatekeeper is part of a future mini-quest.
The Disgraced Anubite that is scorned by Amansi during Good Tombkeeping is now avaialble as a repeatable Blowjob DSS scene in the Anubite Camp nearby. Frustrated after his experience you can find him hiding in the nearby ruins so you can bring him some much needed relief.

The long awaited return of the Khopesh is here! Available currently in two subtypes, Old & New. These have been balanced to fit in around the existing weapon choices in the world and that's where you'll have to find them hidden away for now!
Arrows have been expanded, when we reworked bows and arrows last update we added Bronze and Heavy Arrows, there's now two more Subtypes available. Anubite Arrows, these are a mid-range cost & damage arrow available from the Bowyer. Inquition Arrows, these are poison tipped and can be found on the Inquisition and the Bowyer. (Checkout the Ammo page on the wiki for more info)
With all these Cosmetic changes it'd be remiss if we didn't also make it easier to change the look of your character on the go! With Korvoth's Sceptre you can now access the Cosmetic and Genital customization screen from anywhere.
Strike a pose! A new photo mode is available to get those beauty shots and desktop backgrounds you've been looking for, access it from the Pause Menu anywhere in the world. You can pan, tilt, zoom, freeze time, change the time of day and pick pose animations (we'll add more!).

As always we've been expanding the world with new environment art and world building to continuously bring you all more of the world of Sabu. There's also the UE4 area which is now in the world in-progress but is inaccessible until it's completed shown in the last dev blog.


Ambient Sex Scenes are something we've been working on and experimenting with that are small non-dss scenes around the world that the player can join-in on, there's none available yet but you can see some of their in-development sex scenes hidden around the world now.


The Avatar release for this update will be coming 22/09/2025.

This got us thinking; exotics are popular, romance is popular... I wonder what the next Male and Female/Futa romance options should be...
This vote is also running on our Discord, so Patrons can already vote twice. For upgraded vote power, with the vote on here will be weighted by % rather than raw numbers, giving Patrons a greater say in the direction of the game.
NB: I made things confusing with my "Centaur Fem/Futa" option, but generally all "Female" NPCs will have the ability to be set as a "Futa" by players (if so desired).

This post brings details of the vast new map zone, last seen in UE4, as well as numerous new adult scenes coming in this update. There's also a peek at one of the DSS scenes from the subsequent update.
Hi all,
As mentioned we're here with the next development update, showcasing the new scenes and world area coming in the next content release. We've now had all of the voice acting returned, but there's still some time required to clean up and process everything before it's wrapped up. This shouldn't be a major chunk of work however, as much of the VA is for upcoming quests/romance NPCs (not just for this update).
We're definitely a touch behind where we aimed to be, but the content itself is there and we've got a little more in the update than we previously planned. It's primarily final implementation and hooking everything up at this point. We'll confirm the precise update content and release date in the coming days.
As teased before, we have finally recreated all of the UE4 playable areas which will be coming over to the UE5 build of the game. This area is - as you would expect for first implementation - far from "final", but it brings all of the prior areas back to Sabu. The river delta beneath the home of the High Priestess', as well as her voluptuous attendant Nepthys, will host numerous quests in coming updates.
As we have progressed in the development of the Anubite quest chain, it has become necessary to implement the UE5 version of the impressive Anubite architecture that has not been seen in Sabu since the UE4 build. Those of you that favour the Jackal god and his debauchery will find all the "rituals" you can endure in this hilltop monument to untethered lust.

The multitude of small docks, along with the main trading port itself, give a far wider array of traders with which to do business. The mercantile-minded among you will find likeminded folk here, not to mention those smugglers that seek to trade ancient artifacts right beneath the noses of the Jackal Cultists.

Meanwhile the quieter parts of the mouth of the Euphoris have also returned. Firmly within Anubite control, these areas offer safety, of a kind, as well as a slower pace of life for any seeking to settle down and toil beneath the sun... before "toiling" beneath the sheets with their fellow villagers.

A ruthless trader and breeder of exotic beasts, Ozier hails from the far north. Making his way here was no small feat, and he has amassed both power and wealth on his journey. He has no time for the niceties of moonlit walks, nor the comfort of a candlelit dinner, but he will never refuse a tight sheath for his manhood.
This first DSS scene will be available for players of all forms (male/female/futa), however in the following updates players capable of pregnancy will be able to become Ozier's personal broodmare. This may turn out to be a double-edged sword, as the appetite of the striped-centaur is ever growing and players may scarcely recall a time when their belly was not swollen with his seed.
Ozier will be more than happy to enjoy non-fertile players, they just won't get this unique side content... however frequent opportunities beneath him will still very much be on the menu.
Ozier's scenes will be replayable.

Trapped and imprisoned by the centaur Ozier, the towering form of Sarratu makes an imposing sight. Far taller and stronger than the player, there's no bending this Amazonian reptile to your will; many before you have tried, many charred bones now litter her den.
We ran a poll for Sarratu, deciding if she was futa or female. Whilst futa won, we felt it wasn't too much more work to have both options - now what's hidden within her cloaca will be decided by the player. We may offer this option with some other NPCs in future, though it will never be every NPC.
Players who are willing to submit to Sarratu, to grovel before the mighty huntress, may not only be spared... they may discover how jealously a Drake guards her treasure. After all, silver and gold are far from the only things to catch the eye of a queen in heat.
In the following updates, those that submit yet further will discover - if they are willing and flexible enough - exactly how a Queen prefers to incubate her eggs...
Sarratu's scenes will be replayable.

Players will also be able to give blowjobs to two male NPCs. One is endlessly replayable at an Anubite camp, the other is part of an upcoming quest but we're letting you get your hands on it early... or should that be "get your lips on it"?
We've included the screenshot of our animation rig to give an idea of the pose - as the Gatekeeper form isn't yet finalised. The Anubite will be human, whilst the Gatekeeper will either be Draconid or a Jackal.

Without spoiling the specifics of an incoming quest, we also have a male drake DSS scene incoming. This one features the more "traditional" drake form, without the "human" features of the Queen Drake. This purity of draconic lineage affords a unique trait of it's own; twin members. The male drake packs two large cocks to really fill out the content... and the player.
Male Drake scenes will be replayable.

So first things first. We're waiting on some voice-acting before we can push the update, so that places our release window to the last week of July/first week of August. It's a hefty update and brings a lot of content for players of every stripe (and for enjoyers of both male and female sexual partners, human or exotic).
It's been a long time since we showed our homework, and we've been working on so much that we're going to split this into a couple of development blogs as we approach the update. The first of these will cover some of the new customisation options coming in the next update - the second post will give an overview of the two new exotic DSS scenes and the new map areas.

We've overhauled the facial customisation, doing away with the "ethnicity" slider and instead splitting the options out into a series of new sliders. These are the starting point but we'll review where gaps in customisation sliders are in future (once you've helped us find the limitations).

Brow (Pronounced - Gentle)
Cheeks (Concave - Convex)
Eyes (Tilted - Lidded)
Jaw (Smooth - Defined)

We've made a range of new hairstyles - for male and female humans - as well as those forms that were sorely crying out for some options (such as male jackals).
Hair can now be tinted within the customisation menu and any unlocked hair colours can be applied. There are "canon" hair options and those you can use to demonstrate your creative flair, lore be damned.

The base human skin - shared by humans and demi's alike - is unblemished and clean. This was an intentional decision, however we've now enabled other options; from more sun-weathered skin, and those with tan-lines, to stretch-marked post-pregnancy skins, we want to offer you greater control over how you finetune your character.
Human skin complexion will be mechanically much the same as changing skins does on non-human forms.

Human's will now have the exclusive setting for bodyhair control. This is separate from complexion and allows you to adjust the look of very short bodyhair. There will eventually be 3d pubic hair options, however this is not intended to replace that. Instead this allows you to set your character as smooth, shaved, trimmed, or hairy - with two variants of "hairy" to reflect different appearances of bodyhair.


All forms - yes, even crocs - can unlock and use tattoos and makeup (male and female alike). There will be sixteen tattoo sets and ten makeup sets available with this update, in "Sabuthi", "Narthossi", "Gilded Fold Slave", and "Primal" styles. Like hair colour, tattoo and makeup colours can be independently customised by the player to finetune your appearance.
Some makeup and tattoos will be unlocked by default, others must be discovered in the world.

We have two new "human" forms coming with the update, sporting some unconventional skin-tones. These will both need to be discovered and unlocked in the world.
The Green-skinned Zuganti people are only found atop the Zuganthar Plateau, a flourishing jungle oasis marooned atop a rocky outcrop of the White Walls. Often shunned by outsiders, they are skilled warriors and trappers, as well as skilled hunters of exotic beasts such as wild Drakes. Zuganti are particularly fecund, with an ever growing population forcing them to venture ever further from their lush homeland.
The Ash-skinned Virethi people dwell in the Dahmur Wastes amidst ancient voidstone ruins. Old tales claim that their ancestors were the offspring of humans and void daughters, though the strong presence of the void in their homeland may also be the source of their unique appearance. Their dwindling population suggests a lower fertility and virility than other forms, though on a more positive note they do have a natural affinity with magic.
The more eagle-eyed among you will recognise some of this screenshot. As of this moment we have incorporated all of the UE4 map areas into the UE5 map. Full details to come in the next blog.

Next dev blog we'll cover the three new DSS scenes coming in the update, including a new male zebra-centaur scene and a scene with the female drake. In addition we'll cover yet another DSS scene currently in-development - the twin-cocked male drake scene. Full details to come in the next blog.

Hi Everyone! It's been longer than usual but we're here at last. We've implemented some substantial "quality of life" changes which have drawn out the time between updates, however the next release will be far sooner. Once we've hot-fixed the game for the impending Avatar there should be another Ascended+ update around 6 weeks after that.
The Inquisition storyline continues this update with Good Tombkeeping. One hour after A Road Paved with Good Intent (or passing time at a campfire), Tefahra will have another task for you; halt the Anubites from pillaging a Tomb in the inhospitable Behid-Heq, dispatch a dangerous boss, then prove your faith and commitment to Bast with a Trial of Pain, Temptation or Prayer.
This quest comes with a new Dungeon, sex scenes, or an optional mini-game.

The Cult of Anubis receives their first major quest in UE5 this update, with Amansi's brother Amhak missing whilst searching for Ritual Vessels. Players can help return him to the Anubite outpost and solve the tomb's puzzle to receive new hidden treasure and begin earning the trust of the Jackal Cultists.
Players can speak with Amansi in the ruins near Ikenni Villa to get started.

Tefera's trial is a two-stage DSS2 scene including a tease and Strap-On and is the most complex scenes we've ever done. Available for Females & Males, Tefahra will push you to the limit in order to prove your fortitude and initiate you into Bast's Inquisition.
The temple of Jhedet receives a major update this patch, with new Anal options available for for all non-formless players, this will be followed up with a vaginal option coming next week.
This update brings the return to unlockable Genital Options to Sabu, bringing with it two new Large genital options, the Drake Member and - for female-form players - the first large size Strap-On, the Inquisitor's Rod.
Find the new genitals sealed within the latest return to the game: Ritual Vessels are again scattered around the world and deep within Dungeons. In subsequent updates these will be how you will find both new and existing genital skins and cosmetic options.
The new Drake Member is currently available in three skins.

Futa and Male players are not the only ones to get new options in the update; Female players will now have access to a "large" option in the form of the Inquisitor's Rod. Not quite so brutally-shaped nor as ornate as Tefahra's strap-on, this chunky hole-gaper is still a sight to behold.
The new Inquisitor's Rod enables "large member" content for Female form (non-futa) players.


Masses of new shields are now available around the world. From corroded relics to ornate bronze, to Anubite, Inquisition, and even the Gilded Fold; there are now 17 new shield options with which players can equip themselves to face the dangers of the dunes.

Players will find these shields on merchants, as drops from enemies, and in the depths of the new dungeons.
Bows in CI have been placeholder until now; we've finally overhauled them and made them more readily available around the world. The Light Hunting Bow is now the default, which is a little faster than before and with higher crit chance. If you're lucky you'll find the Anubite Warbow which is heavier on the draw and does significantly higher damage.

In this update there are only one type of arrows, Bronze, however there are four new types coming in the next update, giving you more options with which to specialise your ranged combat.

With the new and improved boss-fights in this update, we've taken the opportunity to add new spells, expanding and enhancing the Sorcery system.
IMPEDE
Conjures a rune around the caster, slowing enemies. The rune saps momentum, dulls instincts, and weighs heavily on the will to move.
VOLTAGRIM
A jagged bolt of crackling void energy tears through the air, distorting space in it's wake and damaging all enemies within.
ETHERCRACK
From the ground erupts a cluster of shadow-forged spikes, tearing upward in a violent surge of void energy. The air grows cold and silent before impact. Can cause knockdown.
This is an early access look into our latest settlement in the world, the exotic-beast market town of Dhrakoq Port.



This lush, tower-studded harbour will soon host all manner of exotic beasts and debauchery, for now however players will gain access to new vendors and a sneak peek at witnessing what happens when a Drake is unintentionally set loose before being tamed...

This scene, and other exotics with the Drakes, are not yet playable but are coming soon.
The more keen-eyed players will spot a new structure on the horizon; The Great Temple of Anubis is now partially remade in UE5. Given that we're now starting to pick up the pace of main quests we felt it was time to implement the main Anubite stronghold from the UE4 build of the game inside of UE5.

As with everything we make in the UE5 version of the game, it's not a 1:1 recreation. The walls are now adorned with vast panels detailing the history of Sabu, at least history as the Jackal Cult would tell it.
We were getting unhappy with the limited camera options in game and we felt it needed an overhaul, the new camera now lets you zoom in or out whenever you'd like, swap shoulder and we'll be adding more options for it in the future, we hope you like the change!

We've changed the Torch to make it more usable, this now has a keybind in the options, it's default bound to [ Y ] and this will be added to the radial menu in a future update. By picking up a torch at a vendor or in one of many chests it'll bring it out and light up the way.

We've added two major improvements to the New Game experience, Masculine Formless and the ability to skip the intro.

If you do choose to skip Heifer's Reach, you'll be started on Tal'Senet with a sword, some potions and you'll be level 2 to help you along your way.

We've been listening intently to player feedback and suggestions, and a substantial number of you have been asking for more saves and better organization. To this end, this update we've added three major features:
Save Slots
Unlimited Saves
Manual Saves
In the menus you can now select your current save slot, each slot has unlimited saves and holds auto-saves, quick saves and manual saves. Hopefully this lets you keep track and not lose any progress and honestly we're sorry it took us this long!
There's also a new 'Save & Quit' option on the menu that if you can save, it will also save before closing.
DLSS is back on the menu bringing the latest upscaling, frame gen, ray reconstruction and reflex settings to give you more control.

FSR was also added but has been disabled for now as once it was introduced it had major adverse visual and performance issues, when this is resolved it will be re-introduced.

The final update of 2024 is here at last, a veritable stocking-stuffer just in time for Christmas!
The quests for the Inquisitors of Bast are now live. We can't really touch on the story without giving too much away, but it's safe to say that it's not all plain sailing and more than once you'll find yourself in a tight spot... if you play your cards right that is.

This update sees the return of true Inquisitors of Bast, rather than just her footsoldiers, along with the ability to join the violent cult / heroic champions [delete as appropriate] of the cat goddess.

Players can at long last see the other side of the story, peeking behind the curtain of the oft-maligned feline faction. You'll have a chance to see multiple facets of the order and begin your journey with them.

There are also now not one but two new Dynamic Sex System 2.0 scenes in the update, both accessible through the new quests. Both scenes are enabled for male, female, and futa players.

Take the fight to the enemies of Bast with the Inquisitor's Spear, another tool in your arsenal with which to dispatch the dangers of the dunes. Do watch your step as you explore however, as there are now significantly more chances to put your weapons to work in some areas of the forsaken desert kingdom than ever before (read: echo went mad with power and doubled the number of Subaq and Mau spawns - it's not much, but it's honest work).
Now the less ideal news; we realised we weren't going to be getting an interactive Drake or Naga into this update without pulling a serious amount of crunch (and even then it would be devoid of it's lead-in quest).
We've previously had a habit of working right upto (and including) Christmas day and honestly we decided that we needed to ease off a little this year. Kids won't stay small forever and some of ours don't have many years left where it's quite as magic; we didn't want to sacrifice that to push out half-baked content. I hope everyone understands and it's not too much of a letdown that you'll have to wait a little longer to get your hands on the Naga and Drake.
We've also continued to detail the world in preparation for the Q1 quests, with very different new enemy types planned as well as some very exciting new dungeons. Anubites get their main quest next, along with some more side-quests and non-faction storylines to explore.

For those into submission, player slavery is also coming soon, along with the second phase of capture/break slave mechanics. There are more gameplay related additions including a plethora of traps and dangers which we're implemented too, so there will be far more challenges to face as you explore in search of ever greater rewards.

The promised gloryhole update is live NOW, you can find the Temple of Jedet nearby the new Flooded Void Tomb, you can both pleasure and be pleasured by the Acolytes of the Temple after you've unlocked the door with a Watcher's Eye.
This is a Lovense Enabled Scene but unfortunately at this time does not support Large Dongs.
We've been working hard on the final Major build of the year so there's been lots of new expansion and worldbuilding in this update, so you might spy some of the huge new map areas that have been added on your travels.

Hi all,
We're here with one of the last updates of the year, with at least one more chunky release to come in 2024. We aim to release some of the content out into a third update, dropping earlier, but we'll decide based on stability in the coming week or so.
This update reintroduces a character from UE4, the Void Daughter, along with a dungeon and the first stage of a void-themed DSS scene. Venture into the depths beneath the dunes, uncovering this long-forgotten inhabitant of the void... the space between spaces.
This will be the first taste of the void in UE5, but there is a quest chain planned to delve further into the secrets of these ethereal beings. To complement the new content there is a substantial amount of artwork, but we'll come to that further in the development update when we talk about the other upcoming 2024 content.
Various parts of the map have received a visual update, especially those that lay on the approach to what will soon be the Minoan city of Kusu. From the mud-huts of the workers to the elaborate residences of the elites.

These new areas are not without danger however, and new threats lurk amidst Sabu's dunes... hunting the skies of the desert kingdom. Here and there you can already encounter the some of these, with various locations in the world that invite danger for the unwary...


A lot of what we've been working on is almost - but not quite - ready to release. Therefore the December Patreon updates for Carnal Instinct will be quite broad in the type of content they include...

Firstly and most importantly (echo's note: it's an objective fact that things with scales are the most essential) the Drake will finally arrive in some form. Each is unique, but these sentient creatures sit somewhere between the Draconid and a full blown Dragon.

The Drake is a particularly flexible creature, and can contort itself into many potential positions... for the right mate of course. A Drake won't be interested in just anyone, rather they will have to be enticed with gold, jewels, and other shiny trinkets. Must be all that Dragonblood in their veins.
We also intend to implement the Naga before the end of the year, however that is currently less complete and not in a state to show off any "beauty shots".
Faction quests are on the menu for December too, with the first chunk of the Inquisitor's of Bast questline releasing before Christmas. The dark tombs beneath the quiet sands have allowed the zealots to bide their time, now they seek to strike... to reclaim Sabu in the name of the Usurper Queen Bast.

There are several large dungeons coming in December, so it should provide a strong mix of new gameplay and adult content. It's hard to showcase these things without too many spoilers, so these screenshots will have to suffice for now. If you want to keep up with the more detailed development in the coming weeks then make sure to check out "#behind-the-scenes" on our Discord.

We also have the Temple of Jedet dropping, a gloryhole-filled shrine devoted to the well-hung Ram demigod himself. Players will be able to give and/or recieve a servicing at one of the temple's several "ritual openings".
This massive, subterranean vault is a perfect rest-stop to take a load... what was I saying again? There will be quests set here in 2025, however for the time being it's just a place to give or receive oral.

Other areas of the map have already been set-dressed in anticipation of upcoming quests, including the return of our bookish draconid girl from UE4, Ahmes. We also have the first arc of the Anubites quests as well as a very extensive quest to become a slave (and everything that entails). Multiple new enemy types are also in the works so very much watch this space!

Romance quests too are being further fleshed out, with Damaris receiving the next stage as well as the introduction of the first male Romance NPC, Denn.

Whew, that was a marathon to draft... well hopefully it conveys at least a taste of what we've been working on. There is more in the works than we can properly convey in a single post, but you should have your hands on a great deal of it soon.

Hey All.
We are excited to bring you the latest update with the much awaited DSS2! There's been a huge amount of technical background work done for this update, which is hard to show off. We've added 5 new DSS2 scenes with this update, a mini quest, two romances and a plethora of bugfixes and changes.
This update was very delayed and we're all a bit sleep deprived, a full update post will come out with the Avatar release. Here's the highlights:
The goal of DSS2 was to bring you greater control of the scenes, with dynamic interactions, a more streamlined process for us to make new scenes and freecam. Along the way we added physics, new cum, jiggly bits and more!

Romance is in the air and we've added the next of the long awaited Damaris Romance quest, along with a mini-romance with Mera, in pleasure villa. new Romance NPCs Available:

This update brings the Lovense integration, this works with old DSS and new DSS2 scenes, we'll be improving this in coming updates but this should support all toys. We've especially focused on the Solace Pro and the Solace in DSS2, trying our best to match the movements up with the DSS2 animation.
Enable Lovense by enabling Game Mode on your Android/iOS device, and find Lovense in the settings, turn it on and you should see your device in the list and you're good to go!
As a part of DSS2, we had to remake all of the body system and skins, you hopefully won't notice much difference right now, but this will allow us to use the new cum system, upcoming sweat and wet changes to characters and the new "equipment" tints.
Dong tints are back in the game and they should match up much much better with all of the skin choices, this comes along with a new Dong Skin System, giving you more choices!

A new clothing improvement comes in the form of new bulges in the clothes based on the current dong you have selected, show off your bulge in the Anubite Skirt, Inquisitor's Garb or Slaver's Finery.
Fishing wasn't as fun as it could be, you could only fish in certain spots and the loot was limited, so we've given it a bit of a rework. After completing a short fishing tutorial with Moswen, our resident Fisherman, you can now fish anywhere with deep water.
If you fish in a Fishing Pool, you're guaranteed that fish as loot, but if you fish in open water, who knows what trash you'll find?!
p.s. You can now sail a boat into the middle of the Euphoris, stand on top and fish away!

Pleasure Villa in Ikenni Village was introduced in the last update but the squabbles between Safiya and Tabu along with the pleasures of it's inhabitants were locked until this update. Complete this mini-quest to unlock new sex scenes with a handmaiden and unlock Mera's mini-romance.
The gilded fold will receive some updates and get more populated in the coming update, for now we've trimmed the hedges and added a couple of new interactions, more to come!
We've noticed a performance improvement with moving to Unreal Engine 5.4 along with our own optimizations and changes as we always do, we hope you enjoy the extra frames!
The Form Unlock and Cosmetic screens needed some major updates and they've received a face-lift and a functionality update along with some bug fixes.
We've worked hard this update to bring you three major settings updates:
The settings system should work much much better
Keybindings should now be available for almost every major action in the game
Glyphs are now dynamic for keybinds on the UI
The most common issues that kept occuring with our NPCs being un-cooperative and getting stuck on certain dialog has received a major update which should prevent this from happening in the future.

Hi all,
Just a brief development update to give you an idea of where we are. Some of the new systems which we showcased in the last development blog required us to upgrade the engine to version 5.4, which we had already done at time of last posting. Since then, and as we approached our initial estimate of the end of July, we began our usual process of test builds to check for any unexpected surprises.
In UE5.4, Epic have included some fairly hefty performance improvements, however these have not come without a cost. The "improvements" have slightly altered the way that lighting works, creating some fairly unpleasant visual errors that we're not happy with. Having spent the past week crunching on almost nothing but a fix for these, we've resolved most of the lighting errors that impact characters, however there are still some which we're not prepared to ship with.
These errors do not exist in the 'editor' version of the game, only the shipping build (i.e. what you all get to play) which does help somewhat with narrowing down what Epic have broken. That said we don't want to have all our hard work undermined by a graphical glitch that ruins the final look of DSS 2.0. To this end the art team will be doing little else until we've resolved the issue, a decision that will necessarily add to our development time.
We will keep you in the loop and let you know as soon as we have it nailed down. What we can say fairly conclusively is that we're not going to have DSS 2.0 out in July, rather it'll drop sometime in August. We appreciate that you want to get your hands on it ASAP, but we also know you won't want a scuffed release that's been pushed just to meet an arbitrary date. This shouldn't impact our additional planned updates for the year, as these are mostly being worked on by different team members in parallel (that is to say that you can still expect multiple content updates from us, after DSS 2.0, before the year is out).
In the meantime I wanted to share one of the small upgrades that's coming in the DSS 2.0 update (though technically it's already been revealed on the Patreon-exclusive "Behind the Scenes" section of the Disord), and that's correctly coloured genitals. All genitals will now have differing tones based on your selected skin, so you'll no longer sport a generic colour when it comes to your "equipment". This also means that particularly vivid skins may sport some fairly outlandish genital colouration, giving us more ways to express differences between subtypes of various forms. We'll extend this colouration to female genital variations in time.
So that's where things stand, a slight halt whilst we fix what Epic have broken. Shouldn't be too long and be assured that we're working on it. Watch this space.
Hi all,
We've been fairly radio-silent since the last big bugfix update, squirreling away in the background. In terms of DSS 2.0 we've now implemented a first-pass of every feature and we're onto the stage of integrating everything into the single system.
Damaris now has the next phase of her romance enabled, adding around new 200 lines of dialogue between herself and the player. Players will now be able to not only give Damaris that first kiss she so desires, but potentially go significantly further with the shy barmaid (should they play their cards right).
Moswen is also in-production, with his romance phase in the writing stage. As development progresses we intend to have a good balance of romance partners, with male, female and herm options.
As things stood, our characters were too wooden for our liking. To remedy this we've given characters an additional set of morphs, widening the range of what's possible in terms of facial expressions and interactions. This also goes for "pole meets hole" interactions, where openings will now visibly deform to accommodate various sizes of insertion.

In order to make the adult content itself more dynamic we've implemented various physics based elements on top of our animations, allowing things to bump and bounce more realistically. This also means that we'll be able to accommodate various interactions which weren't previously possible.

We've now implemented a new "freecam" system to allow you to view the interactions from whatever angle you choose. You'll now be able to click on whatever part of the scene they want to focus on and rotate/zoom/pan around this point. In the GIF below you can see the focus point represented as a purple box (this box will not be visible in-game).

Finally, all this time after we lost the "messy finish" cosmetic, we've got dynamic "mess" working within the system. Now any external climax has the potential to make you (or your partner) messy. It's not a "smoke and mirrors" system, so where you finish is where the mess goes. With the physics interaction this means that each time will be slightly different.
The current development build doesn't fully store mess states, however we are implementing this into the system and it may or may not be included in the initial DSS 2.0 release.

Mess builds up with successive contacts, so you (or your partner) will eventually end up very sticky unless you bathe. Currently mess only works from the neck down, however once we've playtested the system it'll roll out to include heads as well.

Those of you who keep an eye on the Discord will have already seen that we have created new mouth interiors including tongues. Characters are now able to extend tongues for... various purposes.

We're currently in the midst of linking all of these individual systems in with one another, which is no small feat, but we're still aiming for the end of July as our target.
The latter half of this year will avoid any "big" systems and instead aim for lots of content within the existing zones, so that will comprise quicker turnaround updates to ensure you actually have a good supply of gameplay/adult content to make the most of these new features. That means quests, forms, cosmetics, and adult content - everything you need to begin really tasting what Sabu has to offer.

This is a poll for initial content for DSS 2.0. We want to ensure the first release covers a range of scene styles, so for this we've got a few types of interaction planned. "Erotic" and "Quickie" have been voted on in the Patreon-exclusive polls over on Discord.
"Quickie Scene"
These scenes are intended as erotic appetisers filling out the world, shorter acts that relieve some sexual tension but don't replace the main event. Just because a scenario features as a quickie does not mean that the same type of act/scenario can't also feature in a fully fleshed out DSS 2.0 scene. Examples include gloryholes, caged slaves, shrine tribute, etc.
"Erotic Scene"
These scenes are sexually charged but not always outright sex. They can develop into a sex act if the player so chooses, or they can remain on the cusp. Examples include massages, bodypainting, bathing, dancing, etc.
"Character Scene"
These scenes are the full interaction of DSS 2.0 and feature a greater level of player input in directing the flow of a scene with a specific NPC. A scene could evolve from making-out to foreplay to doggy style, each being handcrafted to fit the character it involves.
Thus far the two Patron-exclusive polls on Discord have unlocked:
Quickie Scene - Handmaiden in Pillory (tied up and starved of pleasure)
Erotic Scene - Intimate Bathing (every inch lathered)
The options below are for the first "Character Scene"
Only the winning scene will go in the initial DSS 2.0 release (the others will all appear in subsequent updates).

Hi All,
So after one of us had to part ways with their appendix, and another of us had a PC explode, we finally released the first update for 2024 a few days ago. If you want the more extensive set of pretty pictures of the content then please check out the last devblog, but the full changelog will follow once the stability patch drops next week.
The next major content update should be in approximately 2 months but we'll put a specific date up closer to the time. This next content update will be version 2 of the Dynamic Sex System (including camera control, position swapping, scene progression, Lovense integration, and more). After that we can get the romance scenes in for Damaris and others, as well as the more brief trysts around the world.
What am I making this post for? Well we want as much Patron feedback as we can get, so please keep your eyes peeled for the polls deciding some of the first DSS 2.0 content in the coming days. There will be one here and one on our Discord server, both for patrons only. There's already one live (sexy bath vs sexy massage vs sexy ritual) with a few hours remaining on the Discord, so make sure to link your account with Patreon so you can vote there if you're interested!
Devblogs to follow in the coming weeks, with the addition of exclusive "behind the scenes" content dropped in the Patron-exclusive area of the Discord server.

It's been a very long 48 hours fixing a lot of issues. It's past 5am as I draft this and we're all extremely tired right now, so this will be short and sweet: if you're reading this then the update is live. You can see what's been added in the previous development blog. We'll post a full changelist once we've had some sleep.

PSA: It has taken much longer than planned between updates due, in no small part, to my unscheduled surgery in January. As such we're going to release the update to all game access tiers simultaneously. Hey Everyone!
This is the second time I've written this post as Patreon decided to eat it when I first hit publish. You know what they say; if a job is worth doing then it's worth doing twice.
We've been working hard on the next update and honestly we've allowed perfecting content to get in the way of keeping you all up to date with what we've been doing on and what content you can expect imminently.
I had planned this as a single blog, but it's just too long. For this post I'll just deal with the next update, then I can touch upon what's coming down the pipe in a separate post. So here's what you can expect in the next update, which we're planning to come out by the end of April at the latest.
Given that we're introducing so many new NPCs in the next update we've added multiple new clothing options to help flesh out the world and avoid things becoming too repetitive.
Some existing cosmetics have been updated for use by players. The Bloodseeker equipment is now usable for players and features a male variant.
Both of the Centaur Helmets are also now usable items, bringing the armour of Lybos into play for the first time.
We've also been careful to ensure that there are lots of subtypes of faction-specific clothing. That means you shouldn't find too many Anubites wearing the exact same version of the exact same dress. Whilst many will have similar outfits, minor details will vary to keep from a "clone army" appearance.
The image below is a bit like a "spot the difference", but each of these identical Felian ladies has a slightly different outfit;
The new clothing will allow us to make characters more distinct from each other, especially key romance or quest NPCs potentially having unique clothing variants to help them stand out at a glance (as well as to help build the environmental storytelling around the character).
It should be more intuitive who someone is from their appearance alone.
These dresses are the first phase and they'll have some complementary components for the other slots which will help to make the NPCs ever more diverse.
We felt that where the main story currently leaves players is a bit confusing as it's missing the transition to the next phase of the game. As such we've added in a crucial story NPC - Amara. Amara is a mysterious white Jackal who will unlock not only Character Customization but also the arcane arts, namely sorcery.
Magic in CI has been teased for a while and in the next update you'll get to play it for the first time (technically the second if you figured out how to access the test fireball). This first set of abilities allows you to wield the unstable magics of the void to destroy your enemies, though there are numerous other abilities already in development.
Shade Sight
Tap into the power of Kethra's echo and use the eyes of the void to view the world to better find enemies, treasure and quest locations.
Essence drops added to enemies
Essence is a crucial resource for Customization, Sorcery and more to come. Rather than limit player to only gaining essence from Bosses, Quests, and Kethra's Gifts, we've added small amounts of essence to most enemy types. Those beings with a stronger tether to the void, the original source of magic, will drop more essence than mundane enemies.
Levelling
Based on player feedback we've removed the campfire requirement for levelling. You can now level up at any time via the Character Menu.
Coming along with a map expansion and the slavery mechanics, the Gilded fold are the next faction to step into the growing world of Sabu. These followers of the demigoddess Anashai control slavery in Sabu, subject to the necessary bribes (and free samples) for the Merchant's Guild.
Players will get their first look at the walled-gardens of these flesh-traders, hinting at the questline to come. Initially you'll be able to sell slaves to the Gilded Fold, eventually gaining enough reputation to make use of their cages and chains to obtain slaves of your own.
The initial slavery tutorial quest will be part of the update, with the rest of the chain arriving after DSS 2.0 (for reasons that are fairly easy to imagine).

Safiya and her Harem of lusty handmaidens have been having a dispute with the local Anubites at the nearby Temple ruins. Helping to resolve the dispute will enable players to make use of her villa and the services on offer.
Mesahtnofret and her doomed village are making a comeback in UE5. Help her bring a cure to the worsening curse with a new Dungeon, enemies, NPCs, and rewards.
Near to Shipwright's Encampment (home to Alkippe, Khyras and Iva) Tomb Robbers have been hard at work exploring an ancient ruin. Delve into the forgotten hallways of this tomb and take their ill-gotten treasures for your own. But beware, these dark caverns are not without dangers of their own.

The "Beasts of Sobek" have been sorely missed in Sabu since the move to UE5 and they're making a comeback with a vengeance. The name shifted over time and these creatures are known by the locals as "Subaq" (sue-back). A single large eye adorns their head and, in some large specimens, will have the ability to mesmerise potential prey.
Only the common, smaller Subaq (pictured) will drop in this coming update, but larger specimens with more developed abilities won't be far behind.



You're not going to win the heart of a lusty fisherman without proving you can haul in a catch yourself. Well, Moswen is actually fairly easy to please so you probably can. Either way we wanted to broaden the interaction with the world and we've done that with the inclusion of fishing spots.
Once discovered these locations will appear on your map and can be used to catch various fish, with each spot being better for a different type. Currently only Glimmerfin Snapper and Sandscale Minnow are available, but there are numerous others in progress.
Fish are a commodity and can be sold, but once cooking drops (in a post-DSS 2.0 update) they will be used in crafting a variety of dishes. These aren't just for flavour (pun intended) but will give various gameplay benefits.

As we've been updating the Sorcery UI, we've gone back and updated the visuals of the Inventory and Character screen.

We've also added new UI elements for the new "world events", including reward popups to better detail what your efforts have achieved.

There will be another post detailing exactly what we're doing for the update after April, i.e. Dynamic Sex System 2.0. To keep it simple, whilst giving at least some insight, here's a brief summary;
Freecam and Lovense enabled. Scene progression from initial foreplay to getting it on. Support for everything from erotic bathing and oiled massage to full-frontal snogging and bed-breaking romps.

New Year, New Updates. We're currently working on several different parts of the game at once, so that we can work towards DSS 2.0 whilst also pushing a smaller update in the meantime. There will be individual posts regarding these as we go, but for now here's the birds eye view of some of what we're doing right now...
Everything from fixing sliding textures, combat improvements, and new UI work, gaining essence from slain mobs, and enemies that no longer chase you forever. There's a boatload of minor and major bugfixes already done and a lot of others on our radar.
We miss the scaled aquatic predators that lurk the waterlogged edges of the Euphoris, so these "basic" crocodilians will be returning shortly. They're far from the only denisens of the crocodile demigod's domain that are planned, but they're a much needed threat to the damper parts of Sabu.
A chunky crocodilian-themed exotic NPC will also make an appearance, for now I'll leave the details to your imagination... but they'll get a post all to themselves soon enough.
Ophyx will hopefully also be making their debut appearance, though technically they're already mentioned in dialogue. These serpent/chickens are kept for their eggs and meat, and will be a common sight in the poorer farms and villages. Still on the drawing-board stage, there's some work yet to go on these flying serpents.
We've blocked out a large new zone to dovetail with the new enemies and content, whilst existing zones have added content. To make things feel more alive we've also got fishing and harvesting as working prototypes (Moswen will be more than happy to show you how to properly use a rod...).
New upcoming quests include a crocodile's harem, a standoff with slavers, and an inquisitor with doubts.
A new song about a busty drake girl. This is the most important part of what we're working on.
