I am sorry to hear about your misadventures in the great white north. There is so much to see and do in Canada, I’m sure we can make it up to you. This was a great chapter. Thank you. I think it would have been simpler and more predictable to have Persua remain a loathsome, comical distraction. Thank you for not doing this. By showing us her potential for greatness, we come to better understand and sympathize with her. I hope this glimpse of her future remains with her and guides some of her behavior going forward, but I look forward to reading how you shape her story more without knowing what is to come.

Loved the chapter. Though it does make me wonder what this alternate Persua would think if she got a glimpse of the life of our Persua. The alternate seems to have gone through a ton of growth as a person

Man! I loved this chapter. When I saw that the P stood for Persua I almost finished the book I'm currently reading, but I thought, "no Pirateaba's too good to even delay reading for a few hours!" It was so fantastic! I literally re-read the whole thing TWICE! I don't know if I want Persua to be a main character that becomes a heroine, BUT, the Persua from that other timeline... she's someone I'd read a book (or 70 - what's the word count up to now?) about.

Pursua is just another girl trying to get by in this world. If I learned one thing from this book series is every bad guy in the book with turn good and every bad and every good guy will turn bad guy. The that slaver may turn good guy and that he was being controlled

Oh no, we’re definitely getting Persua. If this was a one-off we would’ve gotten an Interlude - Persua or something. Instead we she got her own chapter type. Given how important Persua is all of a sudden, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. She’s developed a craving for the Faeblade, knows about Teriarch, might be able to piece together Az’Kerash, and has suddenly gotten a huge amount of potential for scenes leaning towards the spectacular. While I really would like a redemption arc for her, pirates angle here is looking a lot like Gollum. From the constant referencing of her brass ring, to her being spoon fed the route to courier, to her covetous attitude towards Ryoka’s sword, even down to Persua failing to reach her destiny. Either way this goes, it’s gonna be one hell of a ride moving forwards.

I dont normally comment but this is definitely my most unexpected all time favorite chapters. Persua is a very fun to hate character and this was an amazing way to both further her characterization, make her considerably more interesting, and show an alt timeline retelling of the story. Great interlude, I hope to see more minor characters get a turn in the spotlight because everyone's the main character of their own story.

I personally really enjoyed this chapter. Rather or not we get a redemption arc, I know you're going to write an amazing story either way. I enjoyed the "what if" premise this chapter was based on, I liked the introduction of some possible future characters, and I really liked seeing his skill effect try and encompass so many important characters. I loved the Fae being over his shit, and I noticed the text color which in this story will always matter. I'll never forget Laken giving the royal command to stand and fight, or Flo's marching on Helios in crimson lettering
