April 2020 - Side Stories Spoilers

And here we are again. Share these spoilers as you will. My prediction is that Olesm might win, or Strategists at Sea. Discord seems to think it's a given the [Strategists] will win, but we never know. Anyways, here's the details.

Olesm - Liscor and Politics

Not much Erin as you might want. As much Olesm as you think. More Lism than you need? 

Indeed, this is Liscor from the Liscorian's side of things, not crazy Humans. Now that the road to Pallass is being built, more than one issue is going to come up. And if you're not Erin Solstice, how do you deal with crime, tensions in the watch, annoying people, and more? 

New cities will finally connect to the border-city, and Drakes and Gnolls alike might find 'real' Izrilians to be more than they expect! Your favorite Drake [Strategist] will get to level up, deal with problems, and maybe find some new characters and friends!

...Yes, Erin and co will appear. But it's not about them.

Yazdil - The Seven Legends of Emir Yazdil

He's a...Naga? Sometimes. An [Emir]. And he rules Roshal. Do you want to hear tales of one of the most powerful people in this world? Do you want to know what the slave-nation is like? Here are seven tales over a week that are both myth and legend about one of the most powerful [Lords] this world knows.

Also, we meet the highest-level Gnoll in the series so far. Regrika doesn't count. An outside shot, I know, but I personally want to write this story. It has Elephants too. And Emir Yazdil is a likable guy. He's just a [Slaver]. Um...am I selling you on this?

Tyrion - Pride, but mostly Prejudice

Probably another dark horse, but Tyrion Veltras' tale will have us meet his two kids and his relationship with him. It will show us what nations do when they play politics, and how Izril remains independent. And lest you dislike Tyrion--he gets to slap at least one person who deserves it.

And no, it's not his kids. Another [Lord] who ranks among the world's top! If it helps, we may see a familiar [Lord] and son from the...Byres family. Which means the Dwarf and half-Elf come along too. They're sort of a team. Perhaps even a certain group of [Knights]? Yeah, this is an arc. But I don't have to write it! Lots of other good ones!

Wil - Strategists at Sea

Yoho! [Pirates]! [Strategists]! Water! Will Wil find anything? Will Peki learn to swim? Do I have to sell you on this?

Probably the most likely option to win, along with Olesm. And yes, we get treasure. And we meet cool [Pirates]. And...er...perhaps another of the top [Lords] in the world (this is a very Lord-themed poll as well, did you notice? 3 of the top 5 on this list), but all is not going to go perfect for the [Strategists]. There may be complications.

After all, a lotta people want what they have. Will they survive? What treasure does exist? How about them Minotaurs? Vote for Wil! Vote for the sea! Buy The Last Tide, coming this summer! Alright, let's see if this option does sweep the polls. You know I'll write it anyways. That's probably the biggest disincentive to vote for it this month.
