State of the Serial - November 2025

Hey hi hello! You probably weren't expecting to see this! Probably expecting another week of updates before we went on break and a post like this popped up!

Well, me too! But I've been baking under stress and becoming the struggler, so, here we are. Okay, big thing out of the way first, then assurances that this is fine actually:

TMGM Patreon updates are going on break for two weeks. Regular updates will return Nov 23rd. RR will also have a two week break when it gets around to its next break, to keep parity, but that's like a month away.

So, what's going on? I need time to hash out my plans for Book 2 and potentially rewrite some threads that I'm worried won't be received very well by too much of my audience. I also want to make enough progress on my second project that I can start uploading it before the end of the month. I think that's achievable, but this stumbling block with TMGM means I really need the lower stress environment of a couple of break weeks to work at my own pace.

I do apologize for the suddenness of the announcement. I don't want to make a habit of this. When we get back to TMGM, expect four weeks of updates before the next break, since I'll want to catch up to my planned schedule. I'm hopeful that taking this break now will improve the quality of the upcoming chapters and Book 2 as a whole, which I really want to get right.
