1911's in general are not notorious for jamming. That particular 1911 he's using is made by Kimber and their 1911's are notorious for jamming a lot. and while what he did wasn't a trick he did do it in an unnecessary way. what he did is called a press check, which is where you slightly pull the slide back to inspect the chamber to see if there is a round in it. (Not so the first round isn't jam). he could've done it much more easily with 2 hands but he did it with 1 because it looks cool on camera.

John wasn't doing a gun trick at 1:45:04. 1911's are notorious for jamming, he was making sure that the first round wasn't jammed.

During the scene where John is infiltrating the party and the music is going on.
The red neon arches on stage.
Did anyone else just immediately go "Oh, Donkey Kong!"?
Or is that just me?

I’m too used to One Piece bounties so when I see 7M I think that’s chump change.

I'm not on the discord, so I'm gonna post here. I hope you will consider reacting to Boondock Saints 1 & 2, Willem DeFoe is in both.

It is an amazing testament to framing, VFX, or probably both, that the camera can't be seen in any of the shots in the mirror exhibit.

I love the opening with Peter Stormare because I can't not see it as a total role reversal from the end of Constantine.

So let us talk about the value of coins.
One thing that trips up people is giving a coin for the hotel room. But if you think about it, hotels don't really spend much letting people use a room. Also in this world the hotels are the banks, so I don't think they are desperate for coins. I think someone showing up with a coin to such an important facility is more of letting them know this person is part of the underworld.
All the other times a coin is used for simple things. Access to a club. Fair enough. Drinks at a bar, even though we don't know how many drinks it buys. Maybe it is a set of 3? Since Cassian used a coin to buy both their drinks. So if you put aside the hotel stay, the coins seem to have understandable values IMO. Coins seem to open doors just as much as they are used to purchase things.
