SLC Punks (Now With Nitram!)

i would give SLC Punks a 3/5. like you said Matthew Lilliards performance was fantastic but another thing i found really good was the writing. not like the plot but more the dramatic and personal moments writing wise. But i could not stand the abrupt cuts and some of the improv. Really did not like the editing.

2026-01-04 02:59:12 +0000 UTCA few thoughts on the lottery. 1. Funny that we both read this in school as a kid..pretty dark stuff for school kids. 2. I could watch 15 minutes of you just going back and forth with Old Man Warner. 3. Old man Warner says "lottery in June, corn heavy soon"....so I think the implication is that this is some sort of human sacrifice to the harvest God or Gods. 4. Not sure if you recognized 20 year old Ed begley junior in there as Jack Watson. 5. I was struck by how Tessie seems to really want death for anyone but herself by trying to expand the odds to include her married daughter. I think in fiction frequently, we are told that people would rather be harmed than have their loved ones harmed, but in reality, tessie's animalistic self preservation instinct is more realistic.
