7 Deadly Sins Questions
Added 2025-01-18 13:53:41 +0000 UTCHaven't had much time this week so I've been assuming that I'm just a dumbass in not being able to find season 2 at my usual place. But this morning I've done a deeper dive is it is all still very confusing.
1) Apparently Season 2 is only four episodes? How does that make sense? And why does my downloading site show FIVE episodes for Season 2?
2) There's a Part 1 and Part 2 movie that came out last year? Where does that fit in the timeline?
3) Season 3 is back to twenty-four episodes?
Watching things out of order or missing half a season could ruin the experience with some shows so I wanted confirmation from you guys that this is the case. Also, to help me confirm things, please let me know what year Seasons 2 and 3 were first released. (even that can sometimes be confusing because they will give a different date for the dub if that came out years later)

2025-01-18 14:29:48 +0000 UTCHere’s what I found as far as release dates- season 1- 2014-2015, season 2 (filler episodes aka Signs of Holy War) 2016, actual season 2(may be labeled 3- aka Revival of the Commandments) 2018, season 3(or labeled 4, aka Imperial Wrath of the Gods) 2019-2020, and the last season 4(or labeled 5, aka Dragon’s Judgment) 2021- the 2 movies were released in 2018 and 2021- so the release date of last year might have either been the dub, or when the place you were looking acquired it

2025-01-18 14:17:00 +0000 UTCThe 4 episode season is the filler episodes I mentioned to you that are watched between seasons 1 and 2- just as on Netflix, because of these episodes getting labeled as season 2 makes season 2 get labeled season 3 and season 3 as season 4 and so on, the same thing might be happening where you get the episodes. I’ve only watched one of the movies and barely remember it, but I think it gets watched after season 2- and I want to guess that the movie that came out last year is supposed to be watched after the end of the series- and before the sequel series currently airing the second season- so far I have no plans to have you watch the sequel series (Seven Deadly Sins Four Knights of the Apocalypse)- but I might change my mind if season 2 impresses me enough, it’s coming to Netflix at the end of the month. All of the main seasons of the one you’re currently watching have 24 episodes
