Can't wait till this comes back, love these reactions. For the record if you do in fact announce that you won't continue the series then at least when that happens; I suggest you watch the Boruto movie because it would be a shame if you stopped before the A plot rolled around. The Boruto movie released in 2015, two years before the anime and a year before the manga itself. Had there been no plans to do the manga or anime that movie would have served as the ending for the entire franchise. However since that didn't end up being the case, the movie has been de-canonized. The movie's plot was then reworked to be one of the main arcs of the Boruto anime; but it's completely different such as character's actions and even changes to character's looks. When the manga came out they started off with the plot that's in the movie which is the main plot of the series even though the anime didn't present it as the first arc. Episodes 53-66 recreate the movie's story but everything is extended and reanimated to the betterment of the story. In my personal opinion I think the anime did it better and is the best version so I was never going to have you watch the movie but if you end up quitting the series before you get to those episodes, then at least watch the movie to have proper closure.
