Another sub-episodic set of episodes. I hate how none of the characters are inquisitive enough to find out more about Frierens backstory on their own, its only explained via flashbacks that she triggers herself upon seeing something. Especially when she says stuff like "its been over 400 years since I've met an elf" . Wouldn't the party members wanna know all about that? Shes almighty, all powerful literally. As for the demons, its a case of stumbling into the wrong thing at the right time. Somehow just after appearing in this town, shes the last obstacle remaining, the final hurdle to the antagonists goals. And this smooth criminal -ass demon is surprised by the same Zoltraak shenanigans that the other demon was.... wow. Yet when he finally sees Frieren he goes "Oh yes, the one that contributed heavily to zoltraaks improvement over the course of many years" yet somehow forgot this relevant detail for over half a century.
