Quick Anime Question
Added 2025-01-04 05:04:08 +0000 UTCAre there any shows or movies out there with dream centric plots? Think Inception or shows like Falling Water. I ask because, as I note in the Fate/Stay video I am currently editing, in all the anime I've watched over the past couple years there doesn't seem to be must emphasis on dreams or dreaming. That never seems to be a plot point. So now I'm curious if the Japanese just don't care about dreams in their fiction.

"Perfect Blue" is from the same director as tokyo godfathers. It is his most famous work, it has a LOT of "was that just a dream" stuff, I'm unsure if it's exactly ABOUT dreams though.

2025-01-04 15:55:43 +0000 UTCI haven't watched it but "ID Invaded" is about cops who enter people's dreams to solve crimes. My pfp is from a visual novel with a similar premise but it didn't get an anime v_v
