You're right that they haven't solved most of the show's mysteries yet - but you probably didn't realize that "people looking like animals" as a mystery! There's loads of clues (e.g. how people react when odokawa says they're animals, or how he says he can tell people apart so well) but you won't be able to solve a mystery you don't know is a mystery! The comedian plot never really connects to the rest of the story which might be why it isn't as enjoyable as the rest

2024-12-29 14:42:18 +0000 UTCI'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't really care about the comedians. It's far enough into the series to say that they never really tie into the main plot, the way everything else does, which might be why they're harder to care about.

2024-12-29 14:09:47 +0000 UTCYou say "there's a lot of mysteries" at the start of this but probably didn't even realize the main mystery (why does everyone look like animals?!). There's a lot of foreshadowing (human skeletons in the doctor's office, pet animals, people acting shocked when odokawa calls them the animal they are or says he sees someone as an animal) but since we don't think it's a mystery we don't notice it. I dunno why they say he has synesthesia (where you experience one sense as another - "hearing colours" "seeing tastes" "tasting pitch") when it is (a subset of) agnosia (recognizing an object as the wrong object). Both are associated with better memory, though only some forms of agnosia (ProsopAGNOSIA, the "face blindness" you mention which I also have a mild form of, is sadly not a memory aid >_<).
