2025-11-20 08:47:49 +0000 UTCI'm sure someone has mentioned by now but the visual novel started with the Rin prologue, which is probably why the anime started with it. The 2006 anime, which covers the 1st of the 3 routes, did NOT have the rin prologue unlike the source material, so it was a decision on the part of the guys making this anime to include it. I dunno why the source had rin prologue, its probably so we start with a character who knows WTF is going on so the audience can be brought upto speed quicker?
