Monthly Update (February)

What the hell is this then?

After a two month long sick period at the end of last year where I simply ceased to exist, I realised I'd love to be more transparent with you guys. Let people have a better idea of what I'm actually doing with my time back here.

With CNA still unreleased, it does look like I'm sitting around with my thumb up my ass all day. On the contrary - I spend as little as half the day with my thumb up my ass.

So from here on out, I'll be releasing a monthly update (at least that often) on what's what behind the scenes. What videos are coming up near and far, and - until it's done - where CNA is at.

Once CNA is done I imagine that section will be replaced by whatever horrific mega-project comes my way next. It's inevitable.

What's Next?

Civ 7, of course. In exchange for early access (hehe) I'm doing a video backed by Firaxis, to be released on Tuesday when the game comes out. Sadly, that does mean I can't give you guys early access for it.

I apologize. I hope getting two videos within four days of each other makes up for that a little bit :)

The Near-Future

After these two are popped out, I've got at least two more videos planned between now and the time CNA releases. One of them will come towards the end of this month, and another in March. There's a non-zero chance I put a third out in March, but I suspect I'll be too busy wrapping up CNA for that.

At least one of them will be in tabletop simulator. I'm still deciding between a few ideas for the other one.

Time will tell what ends up gestating. I do love a good homunculus.

The Campaign for North Africa

CNA, my beloved.

It's been very strange watching this project (finally) near its end. After multiple years - and several false starts - a real, not-fake CNA video is on the horizon.

I'm not going to be anymore than vague with what exactly is going on behind the scenes with this one. I'm trying to make this one of the biggest (and bestest) videos I've ever done, and that includes some genuinely insane shit. Can't go around telling you what :)

But as for where we are: "In Production", that's where. The script - while still in flux, forever - exists in a form that I'm working with. It is - frankly - too big. Word count broaches dangerously on crossing the rough margin between Novella and Novel. But if it's gonna be the biggestest and the bestestest, then so it goes. It might get cut down a bit before release, but we shall see.

As you could guess from the previous sections - I'm planning to have this wrapped up with a bow on it within the next two months. Should be doable, as long as I don't, say, move house again. Smile.
