Crypt is coming to Steam, and has been Updated...a lot.

It suddenly occurred to me that not all of you here might actually be on discord - which you really should, I post updates there much more often than here. But just in case you missed it, Crypt is coming to Steam.

What's more, it's actually received two big updates in the interim as I've prepared it for this public release - rebalancing, bugfixing, new options, and - most importantly - making the game beatable. There's a Steam achievement for doing it, so it's possible...trust me :)

The game will be entirely free to play as well. Although the idea of making it only winnable by paying for a DLC (thus making it truly "pay-to-win") is tantalizing, this piece of shit is not worth anyone's money: so it will be free and only free. I'm both happy with this final version and I'm happy to be able to move on to bigger and brighter things...that aren't made in Unity.

Speaking of which, now that this is officially shipped I'll stop mucking about and buckle down and prep for the next real game, this time coming in Unreal Engine 5. I've been wanting to make the move out of Unity for a long time for a long list of reasons, but now that Crypt is finally entirely out the door I can do it for real. I'm not going to immediately jump in and start working on a real project yet but as stuff starts to roll off the line you guys will be the first to know.

That's about all for now though. Oh, and the new video will probably be here tomorrow or Saturday evening. It's Insane Monopoly 2.
