Marsh Ruins, Expert
Added 2025-10-15 20:56:23 +0000 UTCHello again, everyone, this is the Marsh Ruins (25x30), a fresh take on my old swamp maps from 2021! This time around I'm approaching the biome with a much more swampy color palette and more detailed layouts, which I assume is something you'll all enjoy. I don't know, I can't look at my own maps impartially, but that's what I think!
Your alternate versions of this map are Grim and Grimy, which I swear I didn't intentionally name so similarly, it was a complete accident. I figured that 2 likely directions that DMs will push this marsh into would be to make it grim/spooky or dirty/grimy/poisonous. The primary version of this map kinda splits the difference between those themes, so I figured I'd fully push it into both of those directions for you. I could be completely off-base with these assumptions, but it felt right!
