Like, *hard*.
I've been busy this past week helping bugtest a friend's game, and it's given me a new perspective/appreciation for the, well, bug tests. And people trying unbalanced combat systems and enemy stats. You think you should be doing fine, and then you get one-shotted, and the feedback in rpgmaker, even with plugins, ain't great.
With that in mind, I'll probably go over my enemy database and fine-tune things a bit.
Meanwhile: the GIF! I learned how to make (read:download) a GIF of a sprite in motion!
Jamie was neglected last update; seeing as the next one involves the school, I figured I'd bring her up to par in sprite numbers with the player/roommate/rachel, seeing as they start at the 'same' size...
And, uh, I made the sprite you see in the GIF. It might be my favorite sprite, even though I don't particularly like jamie.
Originally, she used Bella as a base, but as Bella is stacked, and gets progressively more stacked, this wasn't viable. Jamie has no boobs. She gets boobs, but not much, as far as ultra fatties will go. This required me to figure out some better anatomy, leading me to draw the upper roll more prominently. It's a good look.
It's also STRONGLY tempted me to go back and redraw the starter trio's equivalent sprites, because I love redoing work more than just regular work, apparently! It's a curse.
