Update Stuff For Apr. '25

It's been like a month since my last check-in, let's get to it 😤

First up, some peeks at current projects for upcoming sets. I'm aiming for 3 this month, and posting them all as a big pack at the end of the month.

Here's some WIP stuff for a comm featuring MimikYou:

This one's done, just waiting until the end of the month to post it.

Next up, a comm for a background illustration to be featured in an upcoming ero-game, just a small graphic in the background somewhere, but still:
This one's in the lineart stage, but I'm aiming to have it done within the next few days. I rarely get to draw things like this, so I had a bit too much fun and got out of hand with details, but I'll get it done soon. I wish I had more opportunities to draw tech/mechanical things...

For the last one for the month, here's a comm featuring DokibirdxMint:
It's not a very complex one, so I should be able to squeeze it into this month's rewards pack.

Going forward, I'll be posting everything in one big post for everyone to grab at the end of every month, with periodic check-ins like this one. I figure that's better than making everyone constantly checking in to make sure they're not missing things. I'll also be leaving the previous month's rewards available for download, so there's always 2 month's worth of stuff to get. The oldest month will get locked behind the individual $3 paywall as new rewards are posted.

Here's another quick preview, one I'm working on of Yumezuki Yomi. This one is likely going into the May batch, but here's a quick peek at the rough for now.:


Chel is coming in May, along with another comm or two, then my comm backlog will be almost clear. Maybe I'll be able to start animation finally, after all of that, sometime in June or July...

Things have been kind of stressful IRL, so drawing has been a blessing to help clear my head. Coupled with some recent changes and optimizations for my workflow, I'm able to get through projects at a much faster pace w/o having to make more time for drawing. I have a lot of ideas for new pieces, just not enough time to get to them all. Hopefully that'll change once comms are out of the way.
