Now I'll be pedantic, the point of the phrase, "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it," is that future problems are the metaphorical bridge and you shouldn't worry about dealing with a problem (crossing the bridge) until it becomes an actual problem.

I don't usually bother to comment, but I'm gonna take a moment here to complement Jeph on his work. I discovered Questionable Content some years ago, devoured the archive, and have been enjoying it ever since. It's been an absolute pleasure reading, and seeing the evolution of his art and writing, as the story goes from what started with a fairly standard webcomic scenario (slacker dude meets cute girl who suddenly has to move in with him) to a world with AIs, online avatars, and now a floating off shore platform populated by same... Geez. Reading this webcomic is a real joy I look forward to every weekday. Thanks, Jeph. This comic is one of the reasons I still enjoy reading comics, after all these years (59 years old, been reading comics ever since I was a lad).
