Holiday comics week

Looks like I was a bit late for the poll but I would've voted with the majority on this one. One of the big reasons I use Patreon is because I prefer to block ads on most sites and this gave me a way to support you without having to worry about potentially malicious ads (which seems to happen to all creators at some point simply because of how the ad systems work). That said since I am paying I do want some exclusive content but I'm ok with some of that content being released later to the masses.

I know this is a bit late (I've been stuck in internet limbo for nearly a week) but using your patreon bonus comics as emergency or planned buffer is fine with me, put a little note to say its a patreon thing and there is heaps more for supporters. it seems a little bit of a waste to make this extra content just for us.

Getting the comic a day early and some exclusive content is nice, but I am a patreon because I like the comic, plain and simple. The more people get to enjoy it the better, I say.

Post them with a delay and use them to drive more people to the Patreon! :D

I am like most others. I like getting content early. I also like to vote on the important issues (like whether our bonus comic should ever resurrect Yelling Bird (dunno, but definitely bring back the Shame Orb (<a href="http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1567" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The shame orb fucking rules!</a>)). Beyond that, though, you are totally within your rights to share your creations, and I am cool with that :)

Even for patreons it would be great to have all of the exclusive comics in one place without looking through the archive.

Publish them! I love getting extra comics via Patreon but it always feels wrong for them to live forever outside the normal timeline, as if they are not cannon fakes! Whether they eventually get published online during holidays or via books they need to be out there! They need to be real!

You do other things extra for us patreon backers. I am all for having a week where the Melon special comics are available to everyone. Someone above suggested a time limit they were available to non-backers as a way to encourage people becoming backers later on. This may be a good compromise.

Yes, let Melon's weirdness be spread to all! We get them waaaaaaay before anyone else, and like the vast majority here, the donation is a thank you and general encouragement to continue your art, not to get exclusive content.

You might want to use them, but announce a time frame for them being available (after that replace them with the link to the post on Patreon). Say if you want to see them after that, you will either need to support you or wait for you to publish the next volume (or both).

I've made my own private collection of the Melon strips because they will almost always cheer me up or elicit laughter due to the utter absurdity of the characters. I'd love to be able to share that feeling with others easily. Honestly, I'm a patron here because I enjoy your work, wanted to help make sure you could continue doing what you like doing and I'm not sure how many more tshirts will fit in my apartment.

I toss money into your bucket not for the bennies I get (which are, indeed, cool to have), but I'd still do the same amount without them. I want everyone to have your strips to read for as long as you want to make them!

Jeph, if you really are building a real backlog, you might consider going 7/7 instead of 5/7. I find it a bit weird not getting a comic Fri &amp; Sat. The early release of Patreon pulls the skip off the weekend. I really like starting my day with QC. Of course, it is more work for you, and you won't get much more, if any, But that would be my wish.
