2021-05-08 23:57:30 +0000 UTCYou can tell when a story was written when exploring a planet on foot, instead of deploying an array of mapping, LIDAR, synthetic aperture radar, and other satellites would be the first thing you do when arriving at a planet that you probably have a really basic map for thanks to orbital planetary telescopes...
