Dragon creator status
Added 2026-01-12 03:05:06 +0000 UTCAs mentioned in a previous post, a preliminary date for the dragon creator release is set to January 31st. Now that it's just a few weeks away, let's see where the dragon creator is at. Most of the major features are more or less ready, being able to morph, add parts, swap parts, pose, save/load and as seen in the latest sneak peek, also being able to run around with a character to see the dragon from that point of view (which was originally a fan suggestion actually). The biggest hurdle left is UI and other things for making it player friendly. I think we'll be able to tackle the remaining essentials until the preliminary date, but if it seems like it will take longer I'll keep you updated on potential delays!

Right... :P There's a complete saddle but it lacks the harness currently and the one who worked on it has moved on to other things, but for the build where you can ride custom dragons we'll have it done

What could possibly go wrong with it, apart from it being absolutely unusable XD, but yeah another question is if you have saddles ready can you put saddle and pose dragon with character sitting on it? Or later down the road add animation to dragon creator that you are hopping on the dragon in creator mode and leave it like some "pay'n spray" from GTA serries. This one is a very distant idea

Been dying for a decent dragon game of this caliber, and I keep being disappointed by the endless drama that seems to plague every game and studio that starts something up (i.e. 'Day of Dragons', 'Emberfall', etc). But checking out your stuff on the game, I'm really happy to see that you have proof of work! Quite an ambitious project you have going on, and I really hope you manage to pull it off! By the way; I see a setting in the EA build for turning goats on or off. I have yet to see these goats. Are they actually in the current build? If so, are they interactable in some way or just part of the scenery for now?
