Ainsley is a barghest, a species of dog girl that brings bad luck to whoever wrongs her, although Ainsley forces herself to think nicely of everyone she meets. She is fiercely loyal to her half-sisters, including Mephy, and anyone who treats her like a good puppy deserves.
