Although I loved the work of Veruschka and Flesh n Color for years, participating in body paintings really became an ambition of mine 10 years ago. I attended two public paintings by the artist Andy Golub, and watching the poise and confidence of the models as they interacted with the public impressed me deeply. I've volunteered at NYC Body Paint Day (another Golub initiative where dozens of artists paint 50 models then they parade around the city), but I've never modeled. I hope to soon.
