How ROMANTIC that is, and their FRIENDSHIP is on the line. Imagine how much she was pushing down to keep that farce going, imagine every time you talked to the one your supposed to love... you didn't feel anything. I think she was putting their relationship on a pedestal because of the narrative, and she was finally pushed to take it down.
