2023-08-19 00:55:21 +0000 UTCTo add on to what you've said, this feels like the first year in a while where a film could have "legs", making money in theaters for more than a week. For some, this is probably their first time in a theater since Covid started. So you have movie studios probably looking at Covid release schedules and choosing to delay the release to the home market because people are still going into the theater and the recent press is adjusting to that older business model.
