Hi everyone, so the plague is completely over and I am feeling terrific now. It is tax season, so I had to hand all my receipts and everything for bookeeping. That took a little of my time but it also helped me get a good understanding of my financial standing with this project. Essentially, breaking even.

I pulled out the guts of my 'commute' code and wrote the overall script to be a bit more linear. Also removing some decisions that really do not impact anything, renaming a few variables so it is easier to recall, etc. I also added a few scenes and the code to prepare for a pregnancy option, so that is a route the player will be able to go down. Unfortunately, all these changes are going to require a new play, because the save files will not work. As such, I am working on a skipping mechanism to make available to everyone until version 1.0 (whatever I decide to release as a complete story). I don't want you guys replaying scenes because I change the variables frequently as I add/modify/remove branches. One of the unfortunate parts of Ren'py is that it doesn't have an auto variable for a branch that you could just call at another time. Was thinking of writing something to do it, but, I am here to write and make art, not build code libraries.

Members got a look at the end of the yoga scenes, a small dinner scene is pretty much complete and I have been working on the "Filmflix and Chill" scenes which will wrap up the in-story weekend. I really want to get this skipping mechanism done because I feel like a lot of feedback is about save files not working.
