Dev Notes - v0.1.6 tomorrow!

Well, I went and caught a bug, so I have been coughing my lungs out for the entire week (the joys of parenthood). This has cut down my productivity severely, however, I promised a release, and you shall have it!

So what is going to be in this release? The harem code, which allows you to replay the first company party and have an encounter with each LI in one night, without having to save branches. That required adding roughly 40 scenes to have things stitch together. Then, it is Saturday morning of the following night, and you have been invited to Yoga. Some NSFW content is there, but it does not have the animation I wanted to include in it (that will come in the next release which will be either by end of year or mid January), nor does it have the night time date night content I wanted to release (I have a few scenes made but not enough to stitch together). The yoga scenes are 100 renders at this point, so this is still a big release just not as big as I hoped.

Right now, I am rendering the last of the scenes, I will do a few play throughs (maybe invite a few to playtest), and then release to Senior Directors on Friday, Directors on Sunday, Managers on Tuesday, and public on Christmas. I have plans to also make a few Christmas specific promo images which I will start work on after the release to the Senior Directors.

I know it has been awhile since I released something, so thank you for your patience. One of the key takeaways for me is I really need to strive to release more often, but I am always afraid that the content I have is too short but maybe it's best to just communicate to the players how much content exists and let them decide whether it is worth playing or moving on. This is an issue that I even have at work, where my strive for perfection is the enemy of done.

After the release, I am going to put a poll out for my subscribers asking about how much chit-chat is in it? A concern that I have is I am producing too many scenes with chit chat and not enough, well, 'fap'able material. I initially made the game wanting to strike a balance between fap and story and want to make sure I am calibrating correctly.

For my subscribers: I was thinking about re-rendering the game in a higher resolution as a reward to my subscribers, but the computing power and time would be a lot of effort. An alternative I am looking at is to use AI to upscale the images. Would this be something you would be interested in?
