We took a break (finally!)

Just a little appreciation post, update and travel log! We have been making content for about 7 years now, and in that time we have been students, full time workers and now full time content creators. As students and workers we had the safety net of a scholarship or a payslip when we needed a few days off, but as full time content creators we are fully reliant on our ability to consistently produce content. Both Google adsense and brand deals pays in terms of generated views in a timeframe: except for our Patreon page. Your support means the peace of mind to not worry too much if a video gets delayed for a little bit, or if a sponsor pulls out we're still gonna be able to pay studio rent for a long time. For that we are truly grateful, and it's the one fairly stable thing in an otherwise unpredictable environment.

So with that it mind, we finally went on our first vacation together abroad that was completely unrelated to work! We have now spent a week in Florida in the US, visiting Universal Studios and the Star Wars world in one of the Disney Parks. It has been remarkable to observe all the insane amount of work that it must have required to make all of that! And even though HP is controversial these days, the HP parks is nothing short of incredible, and it has truly moved the goalpost in terms of what we believed possible to do. What an inspiration!

After spending 4 nights at a hotel on the Universal Studios resort we travelled to Cocoa Beach to have a few days near the sea and live the beach life for a little bit. It has been super refreshing, and we are ready to go home today (our plane back leaves in just a few hours) and put all this reignited inspiration to work in the coming months!
