June update
Added 2023-06-02 00:02:19 +0000 UTCIt's strange to think a whole month has passed already but here we are. How have things gone to you? Feel free to share your comments with me here or in DM! It's still an experiment I'm trying to balance.
I haven't gotten as much done as would have liked as I've been rather busy but UmaTL did keep up with game updates and some internal tools were updated, which should help a few things going forwards. And I got some of the management issues out of the way, so that's always nice. Work on story translations is also still going on. There are quite a few to work on and I'm approaching it a little differently from before to improve consistency and quality. I also still don't have the greatest amount of time for them so it may take a bit, but they will be coming!
Outside of the patch itself I also got the translations integrated in the race sim, and set up umacruise translations to auto-update weekly (which hopefully works correctly...).
I'll still be working on polishing up some of these things and making the work itself easier to do. Then I'd like to work on a few patch QOL things, particularly to figure something out for the "mobile" mdb patching that works as a site atm. If you use and patch mobile, would you like it to remain a site? Or are you ok with using a pc tool or perhaps a mobile app? I'm thinking of starting polls this month as well but it may have to wait until next month based on how far I get.
