In Japan, it is customary to spend Silvester to January 3rd with family and relatives.
This is called in Japan "Osechi" and it's a traditional New Year dishes. (In recent years, many households do not make it at home but order commercially available products.)
This is Ozouni. This has its own tradition throughout Japan. I was born and raised in Kansai, so my mother and me make Kyoto-style one.
By the way, this year's schedule is to publish the completed version of "鬼軍曹陥落（The Fall of the Baddas drill Sergeant）" at the Comic Market in May, and "奥の太道（Oku no Futomichi）" in December.
I'll do my best, so please look forward to them!
