Despite her relative experience working for these kinds of people Remy was still somehow surprised when working for sleazy corps led to betrayal.
Returning to her employer only to find that they had been bought out by the very conglomorate she was tasked with stealing from. In short order she was betrayed, bound and traded off as part of a deal she had no part of.
