Dev Logs!

Good day, my dears! Time for a devlog! (A short one)

So, it looks like I’ve fixed all the current issues of the new update, along with polishing some questionable moments.

Now let’s talk about the update itself. Overall, I liked it, but after you’ve played through it, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts.

I’m especially interested in the moments you didn’t like, or any issues with the story as a whole. That way I can better understand what needs improvement in future updates.

In addition, for the next chapter I’ve decided to dive deeper into worldbuilding, very heavy worldbuilding. But before that, I need to ask: what do you prefer more, the development of the girls themselves and their stories, or a deeper exploration of the world?

P.S. Yes, I understand that ideally I should do both at once, but I need to know what would be better to focus on in the next chapter, and whether that would be a good idea overall.

Now, regarding choices: as it turned out, not everyone knew that the current update continues the story of the Lora and Olivia route (the “normal harem” route), so I decided to clarify this once again.


As for the second route, it’s on pause. Until Act 0.5, or maybe even 0.6, it depends on whether I manage to deliver the necessary amount of information for that route or not.

As for version 0.4.5 itself, I’ve already started working on it. I hope to finish it by the end of February, and after that I’ll move on to the continuation for Clown Squad.



I can’t say exactly what 0.4.5 will be about, but in theory the scale will become a bit larger than it is now, and the understanding of the world and everything related to it will improve. (In theory.)

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope the holidays are treating you well and bringing some much-needed warmth and rest.

And now, I’m here with some good news!
(At least… I think it’s good news.)
Astreon 0.4 is officially on its way! Yay…

Originally, the plan was to release version 0.4 publicly before the New Year, but for several reasons the release had to be delayed.
(P.S. To be completely honest, the update still isn’t fully ready, I need to finish the final scene, which I’m hoping to complete within the next couple of days.)

About the Update

This update turned out really well, and it’s quite a substantial one.

The focus is on the stories of three girls, with a deeper dive into the mysteries of the overall plot. I did my best to explain the characters’ motivations in more detail and, hopefully, make the heroines feel much more alive than before. (At least - I tried.)

Dialogues & Characters

As for the dialogues, I’ve finally figured out how to write them in a way that doesn’t make me want to jump out the window while reading them. YAY.

Regarding the heroines featured in this update:

Kalestra, her backstory is short, but important.

Astoria and her sister: (Btw, on the render above, you can see both of them. On the right is Astoria’s redesigned version, and on the left is her sister.)

It turned out that Astoria’s old model was very outdated… and honestly, kind of terrifying.
So she had to be remade. Unfortunately, this happened almost at the very end of the update, so, yeah… Very few of them with new design.

And finally, the not-so-beloved, often-hated, but still very dear Lora.
She didn’t have it easy either. Then again… none of them did.

What’s Next?

Once I finish polishing this update, I’ll immediately move on to the continuation. There’s still so much left to tell.

Dev logs time!

Greetings, my dear ones!
I hope you’re all doing great!

I’ve come with good news — as usual, I suppose. So, let’s get straight to the point. This month, or more precisely next week (if everything goes according to plan), we’re finally getting the Astreon 0.4 release. Yay!
I’m dealing with a few PC issues right now, and real life is being a bit chaotic, but none of that should affect the release schedule.

About the Upcoming Release

This update focuses on telling the story of the first route, featuring Lora and Olivia. The second route will remain on a short pause for now.

I also want to clarify something important about these routes. Even though they’re presented as a choice between the elf Miriel or Lora & Olivia, the long-term structure isn’t exactly that straightforward.

In simpler terms:

  • One route is the good path—think harem, sunshine, and rainbow ponies.

  • The other path is… well, not as good. Potentially a route where you can become an antagonist. A villain, to put it plainly.
    This idea is still forming, but I felt it was important to mention it early.

What’s Inside the Update

This time, I focused more on character motivations—what drives them, what shapes them, and why certain things happen.
I’ve fleshed out a few girls, and overall, I’m genuinely happy with the results.

More specifically, the spotlight in this update falls on Astoria and her sister, as well as Lora, and the fan-favorite Kalestra! And soon, after such a long wait, another beloved character will finally make her appearance… but no spoilers.

With the introduction of Astoria’s sister, the main cast of girls is basically complete—seven heroines. There will still be scenes with other characters, of course, but the core lineup is now set.
(Yes, I can already sense the incoming hate…)

The word count may not look massive yet, but the quality has gone up significantly since Clown. I didn’t change the characters’ core accents or voices, but I refined them—made them feel more alive.
I admit, earlier versions sounded rather rough…
(And while the current build still isn’t quite at Clown’s level, it’s already far better than everything before it.)

And Speaking of Clown…

I can’t say much about it yet, other than the fact that everyone who played it so far loved it. Yes, I keep repeating that — and maybe it’s getting old — but I’m genuinely proud of the result.

Oh, and it now has a cringe anime-style opening. After a couple of weeks post-release, watching it is… at least mildly embarrassing. But I still want to share it.

Clown Squad - announcements

GOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!

It’s time for some wonderful news!
Clown Squad is officially finished! YAY!
(Okay, I had to trim the update a little, but it turned out great in the end!)

About the Game

I’m really proud of how it turned out. All the issues that existed back in Astreon have been fixed, and the overall quality has reached a whole new level.
The pacing, the music, the characters, the writing — everything came together beautifully.
Each character has their own motives, their own unique voice, and their own story to tell.

And according to early feedback:
8 out of 10 players left the game in an amazing mood!
(The remaining last 2 just haven’t played it yet.)

If there’s one downside — it’s that the game’s too short! (Oh, we have 4k version btw.)

Monthly Update — Clowns, Breaks, and a Bit of Sanity

Hello there, my dear ones! 💫

It’s been about a month since the last post—time really flies, doesn’t it? So, let’s jump right in!

About Astreon

This past month after the release, I’ve been working on small fixes and tweaks for the upcoming update.
Overall, I’m happy with the results—but not entirely satisfied just yet. There’s still room for improvement, as always.

However, something else happened along the way: about a month ago, I ran into a bit of burnout. At first, I thought it’d pass quickly… but things didn’t quite go according to plan. So, I decided to take a short break this month—step back from all the heavy drama and let myself breathe a little.

A Surprise… or Maybe a Joke?

As I mentioned last month, I’ve been preparing a surprise for you all.
And what kind of surprise, you ask?

Well… a new game (or story, depending on how you see it).

Now, before anyone says:

“Oh, another dev abandoning their main project to start something new!”

Let me stop you right there. Astreon is—and will remain—my main priority. This new project is simply a way for me to refresh my mind, experiment a bit, and stay creative while I recover.

After all, a small update is better than complete stagnation, right? Right.

🤡 Introducing… Clown Squad (C.S.)

This story won’t be as grand or mysterious as Astreon.
No galaxies. No ancient powers. Just… a clown trying to find his place in the world.

Imagine something like My Hero Academia or One Punch Man—but instead of a powerful hero, you’ve got a clown.
No powers, no skills, just his tongue and his jokes.

Silly? Maybe. Naive? Definitely. But that’s exactly why it’s perfect.

All the lessons I learned from Astreon have been taken into account here—the main focus is on characters and their personalities. It’s been the hardest part of development, but I’m really proud of how it turned out.

This time, I’ll still experiment here and there, but not as wildly as in Astreon.
There will be 6.5 characters—and yes, you read that right. Six and a half. Why?
You’ll find out soon enough.

It’s been a while, ladies and gentlemen!
The release got slightly delayed due to some personal reasons, but we’re finally at the finish line. Just a couple of tweaks left—and it’ll be ready to go!

🔧 Development Notes

As always, I put a lot of effort into polishing the dialogues. After gathering feedback, I decided to merge the liveliness of the older dialogues with the depth of the newer ones. The result feels stronger than ever before.

The presentation has also been refined—music, pacing, and atmosphere received extra attention. Many new elements were inspired by classic cult films and games, giving the whole experience a richer tone.

A few story elements have been expanded as well, and in theory, things should slowly start making more sense… (or maybe that’s just in my head, who knows).

⏳ On the Delay

I know I promised a faster release, but it turns out I’m not infinite. I ran into a bit of burnout, plus some real-life matters that needed sorting out.

Because of that, once this update is out, I’ll be taking a short one-week break before returning to full development again.

Currently, the build is complete and going through testing, proofreading, and bug checks. I’ll also be working on the Codex and adding some new UI functions.

And… I have a little special surprise planned for November—I hope you’ll enjoy it to the fullest. :D

On top of that, the quality of animations—especially facial expressions—has grown a lot. I think you’ll notice the difference.

Another Rework?—Haha, not this time. Welcome to 0.3.5!

Hey everyone!

It’s been about two weeks since the game's release (give or take), and surprisingly, I’ve got a few things to share already.

First things first — we've got a full Chinese translation of the game!

Huge thanks and endless gratitude to the translators for their incredible work. Seriously, you guys rock!

Now, onto the juicy stuff...

Brace yourselves — this chapter is where things start to get wild. We're diving deep into full-blown chaos, and your choices — both past and future — will significantly alter the ending.

As of now, there’s only one major route available in version 0.3, but I’m currently working on a second full path, which will include around 1.3k new renders, and one (maybe two?) scenes with two charming elven ladies.

(Or maybe not. Who knows. )

Still undecided, but many of you have requested a relationship system to help track how badly you’ve messed up with a girl... or how well you’re doing.

Well, almost... I still need to polish the writing, finish a few choice branches, and—if possible—completely rework the Codex and Gallery systems.

Other than that… actually, that’s it. (I thought there would be more!)

Dev log #2

Greetings, my dear friends!
How was your month? I hope it went great.

Today, as always, I’m coming to you with some exciting news!

This past month, I ran into a few challenges. While working on the story, many of my initial plans clashed with limitations — mainly in how I could present the scale and scope I originally envisioned. So, I decided to dive into learning Unreal Engine, and now, all my location-based issues have vanished!

As I mentioned in my Discord server, upcoming scenes will take place underwater, above water, in space, in the desert, underground, and many more places. Honestly, I consider this a huge win! I've also learned how to import various assets like clothing, weapons, and other objects — finally putting my Blender skills to good use!

Now, about the upcoming update
I haven't made a final decision yet, but I’ve already written two possible endings for the current update. Whichever one I choose will send the story in a completely different direction. On one hand, that sounds exciting. On the other... knowing myself, I won’t stop at just two paths.

But more on that later. For now, I’ve decided to split Act 3 into two parts, because doing the entire act at once would take more than 3 months — and I did promise updates every 3 months, didn't I? 😄

Here’s the current development status:

Good day, my dear friends.
I hope everything’s going great for you, as always. I have quite a bit to share in this month’s devlog, so let’s get straight to the point.

Initially, I planned to take a break from work and just relax — but it turns out that’s not something I’m really capable of. So, I’ve returned to working on version 0.3.

But more on that later. First, I want to say a few words about the recent rework I did.

I spent a lot of time thinking it over — like I always do — and came to a few conclusions. This will be the last rework. Period.
As I’ve been creating this story, I’ve learned a lot by making mistakes. And now, I feel like I’ve finally arrived at the place where this story should’ve started in the first place. The foundation it has now — I like it. And I won’t be changing it anymore.

The same goes for future chapters: I’ve gained enough experience to avoid repeating the same mistakes.

And if you still find it confusing, boring, or meaningless — I’m sorry, but this game isn’t made for everyone. I’ve come to terms with that.
Instead of trying to please everyone, I’ll focus on a specific audience.

As for the scene with Anya — it wasn’t part of the original plan. But I needed at least one of those “As I thought at the time” kind of scenes. So I forced it in and decided to just let it play out as it did.
Who would've thought that moment would become one of the most memorable parts of the game.

Now, about the pacing and why I’ve been releasing things so fast — it’s simply because I’m the kind of person who learns from their mistakes. Or at least tries to.

To be fair:

  • In 0.1, I was focused on render quality.

  • In 0.1.5, the focus was on the story.

  • In 0.2, I shifted my attention to dialogues.

  • And in 0.2.5, I tried to bring all of those elements up to a decent level.

Moving forward, I’m taking the script and Q&A structure much more seriously. (Right now I’ve got a 50-page Word file tracking character motivations, what the player knows, and what questions still need to be answered.)

I’m not trying to justify myself. I really did start from zero — no experience, no talent — just persistence and one simple thought:
“I want to share this story with the world.”
That’s it.

Alright, that wraps up that topic. Now let’s move on to 0.3.

Where to begin? Ah, right — this time, we’ll have one key image that stays with you throughout the chapter, focusing on the character who’s at the heart of it.

As for the chapter itself: I’m currently working on the narrative part, trying to figure out which questions need to be answered. I’m writing dialogues and building the overall scene structure.

On top of that, I’m planning to revamp the main menu once again, in line with the recent events. (The video is already done, and so far, people really seem to like it.)

Progress Stats (Because why not?):

  • Renders – 0% (I deleted the ones I had already made.)

  • Words – 5% (Around 1k written — I rewrote all the events from scratch.)

  • Music – 0% (Haven’t started yet.)

It’s been a bit tricky juggling everything — study, work, and development — but I’ll do everything I can to avoid keeping you waiting. (I really hate doing that.)

0.2.5 REWORK AGAIN?! :D

Yeah, yeah rework again 0.2.5

Good day, ladies and gentlemen! Long time no see, right?

I’m back with some great news. At this point, I guess it's becoming a tradition to rework the prologue after every release. And yes, I’ve done it again — once more! But I don’t see your happy faces... Oh, you're asking why?

Well, it's simple: I messed up! Let’s just say I gathered all the feedback from everywhere and everyone — and realized I’ve been doing some things wrong. Turns out, many of you wanted more clarity — what’s going on, why, and how. And instead of giving you answers, I just threw even more questions at you. Genius, right?

In version 0.2.5, I fixed all of that (well, starting after 0.2 — I didn’t touch the earlier parts). As for the rewritten text—what was new up to 0.2—I decided to combine the best moments from both the old and the new versions, and polish them with fresh writing on top. I hope this time things come full circle, and I’ll be hearing fewer “What a disappointment” comments... but hey, I’m not holding my breath. XD

Now for the actual changes: I SHOWED character motivations — at least for a few. I made their main goals clearer. I also restructured the narrative, added a bunch of scenes here and there.

As a result, over the past 3 weeks, I rewrote around 25k words. I improved the quality of the renders in the prologue, making it feel more... coherent. (At least, in my opinion, right now.) But because of these changes, I had to remove the scene with Anya (sorry, please don’t hit me—I’ll bring her back in a future update!)

Now, for some dry stats:

  • 25,000 – rewritten words

  • 1,600 – new renders

  • 9 – new scenes added between existing ones

  • 30 – new sound effects

Other updates:

  • The Codex remains untouched for now. It will be reworked in the next update — version 0.3. I didn’t feel it was good enough yet, so it’ll be redesigned.

  • I’ve received requests for two functions: Story Mode (where all choices are disabled), and NSFW Toggle (disables all erotic scenes). I haven’t added them yet, simply because I physically didn’t have time. So for now, we’ll have to make do. Sorry about that.

  • In the Settings menu, I’ve added small tweaks like displaying percentage progress, and an option to adjust text speed. You can disable it if you like.

  • As for the Gallery, I plan to rework it too. I’ll probably select 6–8 main love interests, and maybe even hold a vote about it later.

That should be all for now — or wait, aren’t you wondering how it’s even possible to do all this in just 3 weeks? I have no idea myself. My body has told me to stop multiple times already.

So I’ll be taking a short break over the next couple of days, and after that, I’ll be back to working on version 0.3. (Small spoiler: since I removed the scene with Anya, I’ve decided to make up for it by adding three scenes in the next update.)

Bugs are fixed, and everything should be working properly. Hopefully, you won’t run into any major issues.

And the Chinese translation... will come later. Sorry, my Chinese friends!

ASTREON 0.2 IS OUT!

Hey everyone!

The day has finally come — version 0.2 is now publicly available! YAY!
(Though I don’t see a wave of cheerful faces around… Oh wait, that’s right — nobody needs me anyway… classic 😅)

What’s New?

All jokes aside, I’ve spent the past two weeks fixing every issue I came across in the new version.
I think I managed to resolve most of them, but let’s be real — there are probably still a few bugs hiding in the shadows. If you spot any, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Your feedback is super helpful!

Updates Across All Versions

Not only has version 0.2 been updated — but version 0.1 and the prologue have also received changes over the past couple of weeks.
If you remember version 0.1.5… let’s just say the difference between then and now is like night and day.
It might even feel like you’re playing a completely different game.

Dialogue & Narrative Focus

This time around, I dedicated myself entirely to dialogue and story pacing. I’d really love to hear what you think:

  • How does it read?

  • Does it evoke any emotions?

  • Can you hear the characters’ personalities in the dialogue?

Honest feedback — both positive and critical — is always welcome. It helps me grow and make this project better.

🇨🇳 To My Chinese Players

Both versions of the game include Chinese translations. However:

  • In the public version, the translation is incomplete — about half of the text is still in English.

  • In the China-specific version, version 0.2 is fully translated into your native language!

Oh, and the Chinese version includes a gallery feature too!
I plan to merge these versions in the future to make things more convenient for everyone.
