The Gravity Boot
Added 2020-12-04 14:50:09 +0000 UTCThe Gravity Boot is a Single Column tie for a person’s ankles with the unique property that the force comes out of the bottom of the foot directly in line with the ankle, instead of off to the side as with other Single Column techniques.
This is related to the Gravity Boot Single Column, but is different in that the top is woven to produce a more comfortable mesh of rope across the top of the foot. This makes it more comfortable for suspension purposes (this version is less likely to create unexpected pressure points), but it does make it a little slower to tie (but still not bad).
Both versions are great for tying your partner to a bed in a spread-eagle position. You can get them much tighter and flatter than with a single column that has the force going off the side (as most of them do)!
Secondly, some of you may have noticed that we are starting to work on translations for TheDuchy! We found a great automatic translation software that we are using for the first pass and then we will do a second pass with native speakers of each language to make sure we get the best quality we can.
