This Week's WIP and Previews
Added 2025-06-02 19:04:07 +0000 UTCFirst up, this week's WIP!
This was a requested conversion commission, which I'm sure some of your recognize as LP's work. I spent a good bit of time on a new technique for volumetrics, as attempting a full fledged render WITH the volumetrics I set up lead to repeated crashes. I'm sure this is because of the stereoscopic 8K renders being such a memory hog, and probably wouldn't be an issue on a non-VR video. But wow... such a pain in the ass to deal with crashes every couple of hours. I finally through the towel in after losing 9 hours of rendering time overnight and decided to attempt it in post, which lead to far less crashes and a slightly faster render time.
The new volumetrics technique is mostly accomplished in Premiere Pro, and I'm still refining it. If it works as well as I hope, it might also help with color banding, which is always a massive issue with overly dark or bright areas in our videos. It also might lead to a better overall immersion if I can finetune animating the volumetrics for VR. We'll see where it goes from here.
Next up, a collaboration between SFMPOV and Kaeg!
This scene started as a basic animation by SFMPOV, who brought the models together and established the scene build, as well as setting up the basic animation. As I've mentioned in previous months, Kaeg is moving into a new role in setting up scenes for me. He did some refined/detailed animations for the scene, as well as the lighting and base camera set up. There were a multitude of other small changes (Kaeg has the same eye for details I do) that I can't even begin to list or I would spend all day on them. Once Kaeg was done, I gave it a final once over, making some minor changes here and there and testing for VR.
All in all, I feel that these new collabs are going to lead to some very amazing scenes, especially in terms of more monster girl content. Be sure to look for this over the next month.
On to this week's previews for the week!
Balatro with friends! What better way is there to spend your time? Original animation is by LP, of course.
And next up...
More dranei action! This was a Discord-requested VRAR. I knew Kaeg would be disappointed if he didn't take the helm on this. He loves WoW even more than I do. We may even put together a compilation of our dranei blender scenes soon, if I have time. Our next premium release is ready to be checked and rendered, and I need to squeeze that in soon.
That's it for this week. I'll be renewing the MEGA Archive for our Comatose tier later this week, and next week I'll have more WIP and Previews for you. Just a reminder, if you don't want to wait to see what we're working on/releasing you can always join the Discord.
Enjoy!

2025-06-03 00:28:39 +0000 UTCI think it's extremely worth it, from a cost point of view. You're getting a full commission for only $10, plus access to everything the comatose tier gives. The current queue is about 4 months long in wait. We're flying through requests currently, but we're still catching up. It's ultimately up to you. We typically charge a minimum of $200 for a commission, with that being done in a month. For $10 and 4 months wait, you get the same thing. Commissions are currently closed, to be clear. They won't reopen until we're caught up on VRARs.

2025-06-02 21:06:50 +0000 UTCIs it worth upgrading to the comatose tier if I am only interested in those animation requests? How many of them are in the queue?
