Status Update, March 2018 Changes

Hi everyone! Sorry for the sudden absences and lack of news here, I've been using just the Discord channel to check in every now and then but I should continue posting here as well.

As some of you know, I've accumulated a pretty heavy backlog of commissions and Patreon work. The main reason it's going so slowly is that I need to spend a lot of time helping out my family--running errands, driving them around and getting rid of years of built-up clutter in our house. Without going into too much detail, these are among several issues I need to help my family solve before I can get my own place to focus on art full-time.

So for right now, I'll be cutting down on Patreon work while I go through my backlog. I should have done this several months ago instead of just hoping I'd have more free time to catch up, so I do apologize.

March 2018 Changes

Starting March, my Patreon will simply be for sketch requests and Monthly Packs. Voting and Gold+ commission slots are going away for the time being--the Gold+ pledges will just be for people who are feeling generous. All pledges will accumulate Request Points the same way as before, and the number of monthly requests is still based on Patreon milestones.

I know the removal of voting will be disappointing, and I really do enjoy having everyone participate on my content, but for right now it's too much for me to focus on. I definitely plan to continue some form of voting once my schedule allows for it.

Public Sketch Commissions will open throughout each month, and patrons will get early notifications. Each opening will only be a few slots so I can finish them within a couple days instead of adding them to the end of an ever-increasing queue.

I'll still hold the planned votes from past months to February. These polls be sent via emails to my past patrons of those months to ensure that everyone gets what they pledged for.

My streams are moving to a weekday schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 10am - 3pm PST. As much as I'd like to do weekends and nights consistently, right now they're too random due to family obligations. Any streams outside of this schedule will announced here and on my Tumblr/Twitter. Stream Recording Packs will be sped up to 8x without sound to reduce file size.

I'd like to thank everyone for your patience. My backlog got this way because I took on too many and too complex ideas while overestimating the amount of time I'd have to work on them, which is my own fault. Until I have my own place, I'll need to keep my scope smaller and plan better. At the start of March I'll update my Patreon frontpage and send everyone a reminder email.
